AnimaTooniC is Now Open For Registration
July 23, 09 by sharky 7,172 viewsIt’s been just over three months since AnimaTooniC stormed the BitTorrent scene. This Anime, Cartoons, Manga and Comics tracker has really evolved into something special - and now for the first time ever, they’ve opened up public signups. That’s right - no need to ask for an invite in IRC; and no recruitment through reps. Just go and sign up!
When we first reported about ATC, it was clear that this was a team looking to create a special tracker. A lot has changed since then; the site has been completely redesigned with a slew of newly added features - including:
- • New Karma system - Karma is earned throughout the site (forum posts, participation, torrent comments, etc. as well as for seeding torrents) and can be exchanged in the Karma Shop.
- • Shows listing - Since cartoons & anime is mostly episodic & series’, ATC has added a Shows link to group show titles, directors and comics/manga by title.
- • Collages - Similar to Shows, collages are a collection of torrents based on themes.
- • Browser-based IRC chatting, customized and built into Gazelle.
- • A focus on seasons, series’ & other large packs.

ViPMusic is open for registration too but you don’t seem to write about that instead about some crap sites. Or is the FSF based on pay4article?

@Z0NK - It’s been on our Twitter for days, if you’d been following. Should we announce when you’re changing your socks? FILEnetworks does a great job at announcing similar content, and we don’t mow anyone else’s grass here (what that means in trogoldyte is that we don’t cover stories that have already been done). Enjoy FSF or stop reading. There is no option for “pay4article” but we’ll make an exception for you. Don’t you see our “donate” link? Keep looking….

Oh snap, pwn3d. And I just signed up for this site and it’s not bad, but it’s nowhere near a BakaBT yet. Its organization could do some work and some of the releases aren’t even anime, or at least not in my eyes. xD

Of course BakaBT is still ahead of us. They are both semi-public and several years old with over 100k members, compared to us who are private and just a few months old, with a mere 1.8k members so far.
Deso: We’re not an anime site only. We track anything that is animated, drawn, or related to it.
