Featured Userscript: ‘Better Comment Link Extractor’

The brand-new better comment link extractor userscript is a slight (but mighty) variation of the recently updated ‘comment link extractor‘ script. Intended for those who frequently visit scene/release blogs, BCLE works by adding a yellow "Download Links" bar underneath each blog post in which filehoster direct download links posted in the comments are made easily accessible. Once installed, blog readers do not need to "click in" on individual posts to view commenters’ links, or weed through useless (and often cluttered) comments.

Before: After:

When clicking on the yellow Download Links userbar, all comment links are extracted into BCLE’s working window as shown below.

Features include:

  • • Color-coordinated links — Links from filehosters are highlighted using different colors, making it easy to select a particular DDL.
  • • Small filehoster icons are added to the beginning of each link.
  • • By default, links are presented in the order in which they were originally posted (comment order). These groups of links are numbered corresponding to the actual comment order in the post. Therefore it’s easy to locate the original comment inside of the blog post, in the event you need to go in and retrieve a password or additional info.
  • • Users can toggle through various filehosters using the small icons at the top of each post. This hide/show all feature allows you to remove certain filehosters from the available list of links, or show all from one.
  • • Context-menu support — Just as with traditional browsing of commenters’ links, you’ll be able to right-click on a link and select Open with > Jdownloader, Flashget, DownThemAll, etc.

Blogs Supported:

For now, BCLE supports the following release blogs:

    another useful userscript is imdb2leech:

    userscripts.org/scripts/show/73580

“When you visit IMDB and look at a movie, this script will search various torrent/download sites (cinemageddon, the pirate bay, etc.) and add links to download the movie from these sites. Right now it supports 11 sites (AT, CG, D, HH, ILC, KG, PTP, THC, Tik, TPB, SM). Some of those sites require you to be logged in; otherwise results from them will not be shown. “
