Judge Roy Moore for Alabama Governor Campaign
launches MUSIC message television and radio commercials on April 9, 2010.
Judge Roy Moore for Governor has chosen an unconventional way to market his message -through music. As a fan of Johnny Cash the Judge’s love for music steered him to step outside of the proverbial political ads, and be the first person running for office to utilize music as the sole message for his campaign. The launch will be the first of Moore’s electronic media marketing of television and radio.
Herd Records Inc. songwriter, Kelli Johnson wrote the song “Hey Alabama, It’s A Brand New Day” for the future Governor. She believes that it captures the character and the convictions of who Judge Roy Moore is, and what he will bring to Alabama when elected. The television commercials feature the Judge and a diverse group of Alabama citizens.
This creative campaign is not “politics as usual,” but represents his “rock star” leadership. CEO of Herd Records, Inc, Angela Prince states, ” We are honored to market the future Alabama Governor with an uncommon approach. For we see that he is not the typical politician, but rather a man of honor, one who takes a stand and doesn’t give into the influences of the excess of opposing political opinions. This state, this country, needs his kind of strength in our leadership. As Herd has gotten to know him, we are convinced that he is THE leader that will stand up for rewarding existing businesses , recruiting new industry, and he will fight for relief from taxation. Very rock-n-roll for our economy!”
The campaigns feature the smooth acapella sounds of “Elements of Difference” and the Traditional Country sounds of Kelli Johnson.

HUNTSVILLE — Former Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore has an idea of what he should do – besides campaigning – when he goes to the Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo this weekend.
“If we could (round them up) and turn them loose in Montgomery, we might get something done,” the Republican gubernatorial candidate joked to an audience of 100 at a fundraiser Thursday night at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. (Read more here)

Thank you, Alabama for the great reception I am receiving as we campaign all over the State! This past week Kayla and I campaigned all across South Alabama including several great events in District 1 and 2, culminating in events on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. On Thursday and Friday nights we attended fundraisers in Mobile and Foley where we were blessed to meet with up to 200 enthusiastic people. On Saturday, I spoke to a packed house at the Baldwin County Republican Breakfast where I received a very warm reception. Later in the day we attended the Baldwin County Republican Picnic where the local and state candidates were invited to speak. This was another great opportunity to hear from the people on the issues. In addition I had several radio and TV interviews this past week.
With less than ninety days until the primary we have to work hard to continue fundraising as we prepare to kick off our media campaign as well as be ready and organized to work the many warm weather events approaching with signs and literature, and most of all your presence to let the people of the state know that our campaign is going to bring change, the kind of good change our state needs, and not the kind that President Obama has promised.
We’ll win in the fall election, but we have to win in the spring first, so let’s stay focused, work hard, work together and WIN!
Keep up the good work. I hope to see you soon!

100 Days until the Primaries
We are fast approaching 100 days until the Primary Elections in Alabama. This Friday there will be 100 days left until Alabamians go to the polls and vote. I appreciate all of the hard work and planning that has taken place since I first entered this race for Governor back in June of 2009. Thousands of people have volunteered, contributed, and prayed for our campaign and I am humbled by your efforts. We have a bright future ahead for all of us in Alabama and as your next Governor I am looking forward to working for you as we create a sound and lasting future for all of us.
The challenges are great as we work together to solve Alabama’s current financial problems however, for the first time you have the opportunity to elect a Republican Conservative Governor with a Republican led Senate and Legislature. With the victory in Calhoun County by Republican K.L Brown in House District 40, the momentum is in our court. Congratulations Representative Brown for a hard fought victory.
Keep up the hard work, continue to put out yard signs, hold house parties and fund raisers as we pick up the pace to the June 1st primary.
Thank you and God Bless You!

Great News from Judge Moore about the polls!
This is to express my gratitude to each of you whose hard work has given me a commanding lead in the Governor’s race! It is because of you that a recent ALFA poll shows that we have 42% of the likely Republican voters in the race for Governor, which is a double digit lead over the next closest Republican candidate who has a 17% share. This lead is confirmed by the AEA poll taken in 2009. The bottom line is that we are winning, and this means the people of Alabama are winning because our race is about serving all the people, not the special interest groups. This should encourage us all as we take our campaign to the people to stand for our Constitutional rights, cut taxes and eliminate waste and corruption in government, but we cannot take this lead for granted. Other candidates are raising large amounts of money from special interest groups for advertising which will be very influential in the final weeks of the campaign.
Thank you for standing with me as we take Alabama forward to a new day. Let’s redouble our efforts to work even harder and raise even more money as we face the challenge of other candidates and the special interest groups. Lets win on June 1st !
