play rather than practice. In 1985 he played 34 weeks.
A member of the Czechoslovakian Davis Cup team from 1980-present.
Played in the Masters singles three times (Jan. '84, Jan. '85, Jan. '86)
and four times in doubles (three w/Pavel Slozil). Won the 1987 Nabisco
Masters title with Miloslav Mecir over Ken Flach-Robert Seguso.
His father introduced him to tennis at age 4.
Earned a career-high $591,037 in 1984.
Although one of the world's best doubles players, he has managed to rank
in the Top 50 in singles nine of the last 12 years. He fell to 453 in 1989.
