The U. Grant Miller Library's collection offers information in print, digital, video, and microform formats. It includes more than 200,000 items housed locally and 8,000 electronic journals and newspapers archived back several years available online.
Journals and Newspapers
The library subscribes to 471 journals and nine newspapers. Current issues are located on the main floor to your left as you come into the library. Back issues of journals are shelved in the same area.
Journal holdings are listed on the library's Web site, in GeoTom, and in bound indexes at the circulation desk. Newspapers are located to the right and left of the front entrance. These are non-circulating items.
A coin-operated copier is located near the front entrance. Letter and legal-size copies are 10 cents each.
Computers are available on the main floor and in the Library digital classroom on the lower level of the library. Computers support MS Office 2000 and Windows XP along with access to online services. For a complete description of services, see the library's computer use policy.
