Expand the capabilities of your Tablet PC with the enhanced graphics driver for Tablet PCs that use Wacom Penabled® technology! Please check with the manufacturer of your specific Tablet PC model to confirm that it was built using Wacom Penabled technology or read our FAQ to learn how you can check your Tablet PC yourself. Installing this driver will ensure that the same advanced pressure-sensitive features enjoyed by Wacom pen tablet users will also be fully supported on your Penabled Tablet PC.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • This driver is not required in order to use the Inking capability of a Tablet PC. Its purpose is to support pressure-sensitivity in graphics applications and to provide additional side-switch functionality.

  • Please make sure to review and accept the License agreement in the installer. This driver is distributed by Wacom AS IS and free of charge to end-users who own a Penabled Tablet PC.

  • This driver should only be installed on Penabled Tablet PCs that run the Tablet PC OS (MS Windows XP Tablet PC Edition) or Windows Vista.

Q: Can I use a Cintiq interactive pen display with a Tablet PC?

A: To use a Cintiq with a Tablet PC, install Wacom's professional driver version 6.05 or later on your computer. The professional pen tablet driver can be installed and uninstalled independently of the Tablet PC driver. To calibrate the Cintiq, open the Wacom Tablet properties control panel and select the "Calibrate" tab.

Q: Can I use a standard Wacom tablet with a Tablet PC?

A: Yes, you can use a Wacom pen tablet with a Tablet PC. To use a consumer pen tablet (e.g. Bamboo series, Graphire4, Graphire3 or Graphire Bluetooth), install the Tablet PC driver posted here and then connect your tablet - the driver will automatically recognize and support it. To use an Intuos tablet with a Tablet PC, install professional driver version 6.05 or later on your computer. The professional driver can be installed and uninstalled independently of the Tablet PC driver.

Q: Can I use this driver to get the Tablet PC's Ink feature with a standard Wacom tablet on a desktop system?

A: For Windows Vista, installation of a Wacom pen tablet or pen display with its respective driver will automatically activate the Ink and other pen input functions available within Vista and Office 2007 (see www.wacom.com/vista/VistaPenExperience.pdf for details). This does not require use of a Tablet PC. (For Windows XP, Ink features require a Tablet PC version of Windows XP.)
