Continuing Studies Admissions

Earn your college degree and take your professional career to a new level with Spring Hill’s adult undergraduate programs in the Division of Continuing Studies. Our programs are designed to be flexible and adaptable to the adult student’s schedule. All applicants are evaluated on an individual basis.

General Admission Requirements

All of Spring Hill College’s programs are open for admission to any individual who has met the admission requirements for the specific program of interest.

All applications are evaluated on an individual basis by our faculty and staff. Spring Hill College does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion, disability, nationality or ethnic origin.

Spring Hill is pleased to be able to offer “rolling admissions” for all of our programs. This means that admissions are accepted for each term, rather than at the beginning of a school year, giving students the flexibility to be admitted year-round.

Bachelor’s Degrees & Undergraduate Certificate Admission Requirements

Applicants with fewer than 20 semester-hour credits from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning must have earned a high school diploma with a minimum 2.0 GPA or General Education Diploma (GED) with an average of not less than 450 on the test battery and 410 on area tests.

Applicants with 20 or more semester credits from a regionally accredited institution of higher education must be in good standing or eligible to return to the last institution of higher education. Official copies of transcripts from all institutions of higher education previously attended are required; high school transcripts or the GED for students with fewer than 20 semester-hour credits of college level credits.

Application Procedures

Applying for admission to the College is easy by completing the following steps:

  •  Complete the Continuing Studies application online. Pay special attention to additional admission documents and the required personal statement, noted in the application. The application fee is waived for all online applications. Paper applications are available upon request.
  • Order official copies of transcripts from all previously attended institutions of higher education and have them sent Spring Hill College. Remember to include all military transcripts such as AARTS, SMART, CCAF, or DD214 documents. If Spring Hill is the first college or university you will be attending, then order official copies of your high school transcripts or GED.
  • For evaluation of alternative sources of credit, supply official documentation.
