2nd CEESP Steering Committee Meeting

The second meeting of the CEESP Steering Committee was held 27-28 November 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand.  The Co-Chairs of the Theme (Ms Lucy Mulenkei, Dr Michel Pimbert and Dr Taghi Farvar) were among the participants.  Issues of sustainable livelihoods were considered from different perspectives, and there was general support for support to mobile indigenous peoples. WAMIP is one of the partners of TSL/CEESP, along with IIN (Indigenous Information Network), IIED (International Institute for Environment and Development) and CENESTA (Centre for Sustainable Development) were represented through the three co-chairs of TSL.
