Financial Awards

The Evans School admissions committee offers departmental financial awards at the time of acceptance. All Evans School applicants are considered for financial awards. There is no separate application process and award criteria is based primarily on academic merit. The availability of awards varies from year to year. Learn more

Assistantships

Many Evans School students are hired directly as research assistants by our faculty and research centers. A limited number of administrative graduate assistantships are also available each year. Learn more

Financial Aid

The primary source of financial aid for attending the Evans School comes from the University of Washington Office of Student Financial Aid.  The most common forms of UW-administered financial aid are work-study awards and Stafford or Perkins (NDSL) loans. You need to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the office's deadline for priority consideration. Learn more
