Come mid-October, the world’s best gymnasts will descend on Rotterdam for the 2010 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships for Men and Women. Since the Rotterdam competition serves as a qualifying event for the 2012 London Olympics, participants will be determined to bring their A game, which should result in some superb performances.

More than seventy countries are expected to compete in the Rotterdam Worlds. They will be competing for team titles as well as individual all-around and event titles. The host nation, the Netherlands, is expected to put up a strong challenge, but as always, many countries will be in the running for medals.
