 The Oregon Encyclopedia Project

 Wednesday, July 28, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Open your mind to Oregon! The Oregon Encyclopedia is an authoritative and free resource on all things Oregon, from the expected to the unexpected. Learn more about the people, places, events, and institutions that define the history and culture of Oregon.

Contribute your knowledge of local history and culture to The Oregon Encyclopedia (OE), an online resource about the state's significant people, places, events, and institutions. OE Editor-in-Chief Linda Tamura will work with participants to identify local history topics that should be included in the Encyclopedia and will lead a discussion on how to write an Oregon Encyclopedia entry. Learn about the valuable historical resources available at the Albany Public Library that can assist with the researching and writing of local history.
