Comments (Page 1 of 3)
f em up chuck!!
I'm can't watch the fight. What's going on? Please
Chuck is so clearly a has-been. The ice man has melted and gone down the drain.
I would like to see you say that to his face. Considering he is probably in the top 10 in the world in his weight class shows how stupid that comment is.
Looks pretty right on now. LOL
Capwhan..it is obvious you drink to much toilet water!
I used to love Chuck but I too believe the ice has melted. He is a has been that beats other has beens. He should stick to coaching now, I hate seeing him get kicked by anyone. He should be getting tired of it as well.
Seriously, people will really pay to see this cr-ppy card??? Dana should have done what is right and throw us pay-per-view regulars a freebie here, if for nothing else than to make up for Silva's non-fights that we have doled out our hard earned dollars for just to sleep through...watering down the pay-per-view cards is a great way to alienate loyal fans who don't mind paying for GOOD fights...Liddell and Franklin???? C'mon Dana, at least give us enough respect for knowing when we are being taken to the cleaners...you should be embarrassed to put such a high price tag on such a meaningless match...really, which of these guys ever has a shot at a belt ever again in their careers???I'm insulted. Love these two guys and wish them the best...great for the sport and would watch them fight for the next 5 years...on Spike.
WOW!!!! Amen to that, LOL. So true and well said!! I wish Dana could read your comments. In general, nobody can deny that Dana is an excellent business man, but some of his decisions are b.s. Recent examples (including the Liddell/Franklin fight not being a freebie)include, his poor decision to sign Kimbo Slice and focus the entire TUF (heavyweight season) around him, signing James Tooney, and "creating" the so-called feud between Rashad Evans and Rampage. The "bad blood" that they claim existed between those two was an attempt to increase viewership for TUF and their subsequent bout. Afterall, everyone enjoys watching rivals compete. Their "bad blood" was so scripted and contrived, but I guess that was one of Dana's marketing strategies targeted towards the gullible. Anyway, back to the original point. I, too, don't mind paying for fights that MATTER and are EXCITING (i.e., Carwin/Lesnar), all others should be on Spike (not just prelims).
I agree with your post..Not paying for this one..Just not worth it. Hopefully alot of fans will be doing the same...It's the only way UFC will get the message "No More Shyt PPV's"
stfu -- that was the best run of fights in a long time
You all should have done what I did and not buy the fight. You can tell by the card its not worth the dough. I only buy the good cards. I can read the results just as well on the web for the bad cards. s
I feel bad for everyone who assumed this card was going to be ****. This was the best card I've seen from the UFC in a long time. Props go out to Franklin for getting his arm broken in like 1:00 then still, without flinching, continue and KO the watered down iceman.
This MMA needs to go main stream. It's bigger than Sunday pro football. Need more on prime time TV.
Bill
BETTER THan football ( nfl ) are you kidding me.
i bet 50 grand on Ace to melt the iceman for good.
damm they put everything on pay per view now days!!! not worth the price this should of been on spike not ppv... horrible card they should at least lower the price on so-so fights. to 19.99 by bill is already high enough with all these ppv there one every week it seems???
yes the ppv sh__ has gotten old... ive moved on to strike force on showtime and there are a couple other mma sanctions out there now...wasting your money.
strikeforce sucks
so dont watch pay per view wait a day or 2 and it will be on reg tv lol
