Gifts of Stocks/Securities
Appreciated stocks and bonds may help you avoid partial capital gains taxes and still receive a charitable income tax deduction. To arrange a transfer please call Lorraine Dostal at 847-491-8398. Remember to designate your gift to the Wildcat Fund!

Endowments
An endowment may be established to provide a perpetual gift for Northwestern Athletics. A minimum of $50,000 is required to create an endowment. The gift will be awarded in the donor's name forever.

Capital Project Gifts
To remain competitive, Northwestern must raise substantial dollars to build and upgrade facilities. General facility gifts and naming opportunities exist.

Memorial Gifts
Many people choose to remember lost friends and family through memorial gifts to the Wildcat Fund. These gifts are acknowledged to the family of the deceased.

Planned Gifts
Planned and deferred gifts are an increasingly popular way to donate to Northwestern, as they allow for more flexibility and tax-saving implications. Insurance policies, annuities, wills and trusts are only a few ways to leave a legacy to Northwestern.

Real Estate
The Wildcat Fund accepts certain gifts of real estate. These gifts must be approved by the Athletic Department prior to acceptance.
