Student-athletes at Northwestern University not only receive one of the best educations in the world, but they also gain valuable educational experiences outside the classroom. Every year, the Wildcat men and women go into the community to give something back to the city of Evanston and the Chicagoland area. Besides being available for photos and autographs after games, the student-athletes spend many hours talking and reading to elementary school students, helping out with fundraisers for various charities, as well as visiting hospitals and homes for children and adults with physical and mental disabilities. The coaching staffs and members of the Northwestern teams also make appearances at area functions throughout the year.

The Northwestern University Department of Athletics welcomes opportunities for its student-athletes to venture into the community for events they feel will positively impact all those involved. If you would like to have Wildcat athletes come to your school, your hospital, or a specific function, please apply by clicking here.
