Thief and Thief II weren't really about assassination but they had it all over these games.

I must say, I do agree that the Hitman series is still master at the assassination genre. The planning and execution of the missions was one of the best parts of the game. Stalking the targets, waiting for the exact right moment to attack, then fade away. AC does lack in this area.

I guess I'm in the minority for saying I did not enjoy AC2 that much. I did love walking around the beautifully recreated cities and just sight seeing. Also the various assassinations are pretty fun to excute too. but I was very disappointed in the quests, the game end up being very repetitive and very anticlimatic. I know AC2 was much improved over AC1 as far as quests go, but I still found them to be quite boring. If you ask me, as far as stealth assassin games go, the Hitman series did an amazing job. Each time you kill a target, it felt very rewarding as you have to do a lot to get yourself to that point.

(sorry for the double post, I don't know how to delete a post)

Can't wait to see Rome!!!!!!!!! Although it should have been in AC2 already. AC has really been an excellent series for me, not only is the gameplay awesome, but the ability to walk around and be a part of history and a time period/s that really interest me is just a deal sealer for me. Love it.

I also enjoyed AC2. The DRM didn't bother me either.

Screen tearing vs. Ubishit DRM. Hmn... unresolvable situation I'm afraid ;) It'll have to be none of the options.

Too bad, you are missing an incredible game.

Throwing daggers piercing plate armor. I guess. Are you even allowed to criticize cinematic trailers?

AC2 was rather bad, I have very little faith they can improve enough in a year.

You are a charlatan and a heathen for thinking so. Ac2 was fantastic. Ac1, not so much.

Is this "part 3" or just a continuation of part 2?

Personally, I'm more interested in the present day/future part of the story.
