Are you reading my blog? I know. Silly question.
I ask because I ran into a friend at IHop yesterday and I found out that he reads by blog from time to time. (You know who you are!) I guess he must be really bored, or perhaps it is some sort of punishment.
Nevertheless, I guess I need to pay attention to what I say because you never know who is reading these words.
If you are lurking, perhaps this is a good time to stand up and be counted. I'd hate to find out that my best friend's mother's sister's aunt's cousin twice removed is reading my entries and I had no idea.

Mr. Mayor, I can't be certain as to just how long I have been reading your blog & following the exploits of you & your family. It must be several years now I expect. I would think it is because I appreciate your viewpoint, take on life and things truly important. I generally log on around 5:00 am. when I get home from work and this is always my 1st "Internet" stop. "Hmmmm, what does the Mayor have to say today?"

I'm here in Mankato, MN. I drop by most days to see what's new. I enjoy reading the comments of others. Sometimes the opposing viewpoints (eg. you and Robert) makes good food for thought.

I have been reading your blog for at least 2 years (have been at DOD longer than that) I live just south of Norman Oklahoma so I find it interesting when you write about local things (like bad weather etc.) it's an enjoyable blog.

Just sending this to you to ask your opinion on the Supreme Court decision last week concerning the "Law of Emminent Domain" which allows a private developer to basically steal people's houses out from under them. The decision was given out on Thursday and on Friday, the City Of Phoenix, Arizona filed paperwork to take over eight properties in downtown Phoenix so Arizona State University can build another campus. Your thoughts, please.
