We all know payola exist, there is no denying it, and for veterans in the game and with a single like “Hood Pride”, there should be no reason why CNN shouldn’t be getting some radio spins. On the other hand, CNN was never really meant for radio, they were & are for the streets, and thats what they won over on the original The War Report, the streets. The War Report 2 drops July 13th and we need the streets to go out and support this CNN movement.
While I was in the studio, Charlamagne was speaking to Norega and he made an interesting comment. He felt that New York radio wasn’t supporting C-N-N enough. So I ask Charlamagne why he think’s Capone-N-Norega aren’t getting the radio support that we feel they deserve.- THHC
“I just wish that people would leave well enough alone,” Bun said. “It’s still a lot of mess surrounding [his death], it’s a lot of people that are willing to entertain people who are looking for mess. I’m not going to name names, ’cause everybody deals with grief differently. I think they should leave well enough alone. If they want to have one thing a year for Mike, that’s fine — of course, however they choose to honor him [privately is fine]. But I think they just need to let the fans do their thing [in celebrating]. Let that man rest in peace.”- MTV
..they don’t realize I’m making another $800,000 off each one of the projects….so… straight to DVD my ass!…. – 50 Cent
When the pictures of 50 Cent on the set of his new film surfaced, many had their personal comments about his health & weight loss, while some just poked fun at the Queens MC for going through the drastic process of losing weight for a “straight to DVD” film. Well, discrediting 50 is not the thing to do though, cause simply, he just doesn’t give 2 shits, he makes money regardless. While out in Tampa, 50 Cent addresses all the bloggers & commenters who throw shots at his acting career and referring to his films as “straight to DVD” films. Other topics discussed, G-Unit going to Def Jam?, “Beamer, Benz or Bentley” success & the haters.
Above is part 2 of the interview, while part 1 & 3 is after the cut.
Up top, Busta Rhymes breaks down the ‘Dream Team’ and why each member is part of the movement.
There are a few things that stood out. Did Busta Change the name of his crew/label from Flipmode to Conglomerate? Nicki Minaj is part of the ‘Dream Team’? Down below, Rick Ross explains why the crew changed their name, reason being: The “real” Supreme Team. Busta: I don’t think 50 gonna like you standing next to RAWSE so closely.
“That’s what makes it so special,” he added. “Ross got Maybach Music, Diddy got Bad Boy. Fabolous got Street Fam. I got the Conglomerate now. Nicki’s got Young Money, Red Café got Shakedown. Everybody’s got their own movement. But in addition to that, we got a collective movement. It’s about being bigger than life and allowing the fans to be a part of that. We haven’t given that to the fans in a long time. We haven’t given it to ourselves as artists in a long time. We been so busy beefing and poppin’ off. Everybody is so paranoid to stand next to this dude, because they thinking the dude that got beef with him, might come after them. I think that’s a real bitch perspective on life to have as a man. If you gotta move around like that, you don’t have to be in the music. You’re starting to set a precedent that’s the wrong example for the artists coming in after you.”
This looks like it will be by far the best RTB show ever. For the East, they got ATCQ & Wu-Tang rocking their classic albums in it’s entirety, while out here in sunny Cali, Snoop will be performing Doggystyle in it’s entirety.
