Who's Ashley Green's new man? Twilight star in passionate embrace

Her onscreen character would have eaten him alive.

But Ashley Greene was a little more restrained as she said goodbye to her mystery man in Los Angeles yesterday.

There was no blood-letting, just plenty of passionate kissing between the two.

The actress, who plays vampire Alice Cullen in the hit movie franchise, seemed sad to say farewell to her friend.

While onscreen Ashley has short bobbed black hair and a ghostly pallor, off-duty she looked like a typical Californian beauty.

In her tight jeans, messy long sun-streaked hair and vest top, the 23-year-old appeared happy and relaxed.

Ashley is currently promoting the third movie in the Twilight series, Eclipse, and said her toned figure was thanks to her action-packed role.

'We had a lot of action and fight training,' she said. 'So it really toned up my body for these pictures.'

Ashley has compared  working on the Twilight movies to going through high school.

'We all came into this as naive kids and we weren't quite sure where it was going to go,' she told Total Film. 'So to come back to New Moon, we were all completely different.

'Eclipse was the same. We were all growing with these films. 

'When we're done with the fourth one it's going to be an emotional moment for sure. It's like graduating high school.'

Last year, naked photographs of the actress surfaced on the internet and her attorney threatened to sue any website which ran them.
