Event Security Staff:
Job Description:

Responsible for enforcing all rules, regulations, policies and ordinances of Turner Field, City of Atlanta, and the State of Georgia. These positions include roving security officers, access control officers and fixed positioned officers. Reporting time is a minimum of 2½ hours prior to game time. The Plaza opens 1 hr. early, so some staff members will report a minimum 3½ hours prior to start of game. Security remains at most 1 hour after the game. Qualifications: Five years consecutive security background (Military Police, Turner Security, reputable security agencies, etc.) P.O.S.T. certification a plus. Successful background check required. Must have excellent writing skills (will be asked to write a paragraph explaining why you want and are qualified for this position), must be able to stand for long periods of time, work game delays and extra innings if needed, must possess safety awareness, excellent customer service skills, and excellent communication skills.

Job Description:

Supervisors will provide event direction to assigned staff in their particular service functions. Serve as a direct line of communication between the department and all event security staff. Receive, implement and monitor all Departmental regulations, policies, directives and instructions. Qualifications: Five plus years consecutive security background (Military Police, Turner Security, reputable security agencies, etc.) P.O.S.T. certification a strong plus. Ground Crew:
Job Description:

Assist in maintaining an excellent playing surface for the players. May work with Ground Crew Management to assist coaching staff with any specific needs during games. Assist in the overall appearance and maintenance of the field. Qualifications: High School degree or GED. At least one year of grounds experience preferably in a baseball park, or related field such as landscaping or field maintenance.

Guest Relations Representative:
Job Description:

Must have strong interpersonal skills and provide excellent customer service. Must be attentive to guest's needs, have full knowledge of all policies, services, and facility locations. Qualifications: Staff must commit to work a minimum number of games over the course of the season. Must be able to stand for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours at a time, including working elevators, must be able to work in inclement weather, and must report to work 2½ to 3 hours before game time and work game delays and extra innings if applicable. Museum Tour Guide:
Job Description:

Responsible for conducting tours of the ballpark and greeting guests in the Braves Museum and Hall of Fame. Most shifts are during business hours, though some game shifts will be available. Qualifications: Applicants must have excellent communication skills, must work well with children and large groups and must be able to walk and talk for the duration of a one-hour, one-mile tour. Tour guides must be knowledgeable about baseball and the Braves, and be able to learn the tour script.

Promotions Staff:
Job Description:

Staff members must exhibit good customer service at game booths, operate equipment at desired levels and ensure it is working properly. Must always maintain appearance of area at all times, stock inventory, responsible for cash /credit transactions, and help to maintain orderly lines. Assist with all promotional item giveaways. Suite Staff:
Job Description:

Staff will assist with the game day operations on the Golden Moon Casino Level of Turner Field. Duties include but are not limited to assisting suite holders with access to their private or party suite, answering the suite services phones, assisting fans with problems that occur during the games, and helping, as needed, with pre-game activities and guest relations. Qualifications: High School Diploma (at least 18 years or older). Have a working knowledge of Turner Field. Ability to communicate with people. Must be flexible and able to do some light lifting. Ability to follow instructions correctly. Self-motivated and a team player. Must be able to work at least 90% of the scheduled games played (approximately 75 games). Must be able to work late hours.

Switchboard Operator:
Job Description:

Must be polite, articulate, and courteous to all callers at all times. Operators must be able to be attentive to callers/guests, discern their questions/concerns and provide clear and concise information/direction in response. Reporting time for games would be two and a half hours prior to game time. Operators are required to remain at the switchboard for at least one hour after the conclusion of the game. Operators will also have set schedules and reporting times for non-game days, which would include weekends and holidays. Qualifications: Ability to speak clearly and professionally, ability to multi-task, function under stressful conditions (such as high call volume), strong interpersonal skills (both face to face and telephonic) and the ability to accurately and consistently log and pass on information. Operators must project a professional demeanor at all times. Fluent bi- or multi-lingual ability is a plus. Switchboard or call center experience is a plus. Post high school education is a plus.

Ticket Event Team:
Job Description:

Responsible for engaging, interacting, and building relationships with fans throughout the ballpark to accentuate the Atlanta Braves experience while at Turner Field. The staff will serve as peripheral support for the Ticket Sales department. Usher:
Job Description:

Acts as the host to all guests during their visit to Turner Field. Each usher will be assigned a specific seating section (aisle) in Turner Field and is responsible for making sure guests are seated in their correct location. It is important that each Usher try to anticipate guests' problems and never avoid or ignore problems. Ushers work 5 to 6½ hours per game. Qualifications: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, patrol their aisles on a regular basis and have excellent communication skills, must report to work 2½ hours before each game, must be able to work 30 minutes after conclusion of the game/clearing of the seating bowl, must be able to work in inclement weather and work game delays and extra innings if needed.
