In an exclusive to Blueweeds, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli defended his effort to redesign the state seal to cover the bare breast of the goddess Virtus with a more modest version derived from a Confederate era symbol. Lots more at NLS. Excellent point at Blacknell.
"My objection to symbolic nudity in public places is well known to Virginia voters." said Cuccinelli. As proof of his ongoing campaign, the attorney general provided a draft logo he prepared for the Republican Party of Virginia last year.
