Oil spill and activity in Atlantic could make for 'ominous' hurricane season

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts a "very active, possibly hyperactive" Atlantic season this year, said Jeff Masters, a meteorologist who helped launch the Weather Underground website. A powerful storm, he said, could throw oil along "a huge length" of the northern Gulf Coast.  Full story »
