I am 26 yr old male, newly married and I am an alcholic since last five or six years. But Now this alchol is disturbing my married life as well as my health. My liver is not working properly, and I have started looking fatty and it is also affecting my sexual life. This is also creating lots of problem in my life. So now I have decided of quitting this habit and lead a healthy and peaceful life. I would be needing you help and suggestions in doing so.

I am a 29yr female, I am an alcholic since the last 16 yrs. The alcohol is disturbing my relationship with my husband and others in my family. I go out every friday and about 2 days during the week. i usuallly get drunk not buzzed. i haven’t been out this past weekend I really want to stop drinking now, I don’t want to touch it no more since I am gonig to be 30 soon. my friends want to throw a big 30 b-day for me this year, but at the same time my husband said I should just go on my trip to new york for my b-day like I wanted too. should I? I seriously need some help but without AA meetings and treatment.

Hey! yes, alcohol can be a big time addiction. But, definitely can be broken. you have already taken the first step, the intention for quiting the habit! now you can get further, that is, go to a retreat centre, that will be the begining. Develop positive habits like gardening… and you are so young go for dance classes! there are so many beautiful things in life rather than to sit and drink.
