Jesse James - Lindemulder Wants James To Stay In California

JESSE JAMES' custody battle with his ex-wife has taken another twist - JANINE LINDEMULDER is asking a judge to ban the shamed mechanic from moving to Texas with their daughter.

James' wife Sandra Bullock filed for divorce after news of his alleged infidelities hit the headlines in March (10) and he is now reportedly planning to move to Austin, Texas to be closer to the actress and their newly adopted son.

His second wife Lindemulder wants James and their daughter Sunny to remain in California, arguing that the Speed star has no interest in continuing a relationship with Sunny. Bullock and James were granted full guardianship of Sunny in 2009 after Lindemulder was sentenced to six months in jail for tax evasion.

In legal documents filed in Orange County, California, Lindemulder claims James' motivation for moving is "wholly unjustified", stating: "Certainly if that relationship were that important to Sandra, she would have stayed in California - where all of (Jesse's) children lived."

In Lindemulder's documents, obtained by TMZ.com, she also asks a judge to rule that "(Jesse) not be allowed to move to Texas with Sunny."

James, who is fighting Lindemulder's request to be granted shared custody, is due in court to face off with his ex on Monday (12Jul10).
