Summer League comes to close

The Sixers finished the OPSL 2-3 after a tough loss to Utah in which Holiday and Speights did not play. Jrue Holiday was named to the 2010 AirTran Airways All-Summer League First Team pacing all scorers with 19.3 ppg. Assistant coaching staff announced

Doug Collins named his coaching staff for the 2010-11 season, announcing that Michael Curry will serve as associate head coach while Brian James and Quin Snyder have been added as assistant coaches. Aaron McKie will return in his role as an assistant coach. Full Story

Armor to be D-League affiliate

The Springfield Armor will be affiliated with the Sixers, Nets and Knicks for the 2010-2011 season. This is the second consecutive season that the Armor and these teams will affiliate and the sixth consecutive year each team has one D-League affiliate to which it may assign first-year and second-year players.
