NACo provides information, training and assistance to members on a wide range of issues to help counties increase knowledge, build capacity, and foster innovative local policies, programs and practices.
NACo partners with federal agencies, private foundations, corporate supporters and other organizations to deliver these programs and services. Activities vary by project but often include: workshops, webinars and in-depth educational forums; newsletters, publications and toolkits; peer networking; competitively awarded cash grants; and individualized technical assistance.
Our programs, accessed below, are organized into broad categories covering Health, Human Services and Justice and Environment and Infrastructure.
Currently, we also have a special section dedicated to information about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
