Description

Have the insight, opinion and original reporting of NEWSWEEK delivered wherever you take your iPad. You can use this app, which includes a free special issue “Politics in the Age of Obama: Cartoons, Photos, and Perspectives”, to buy and read the latest digital edition of the magazine as well as store as many back issues as you like.

A new digital edition, which includes the complete content of the print issue, is available every Saturday (two days before the magazine appears on newsstands) and can be purchased from within the app for $2.99, a 50% savings from the newsstand cover price. Once you buy an issue, you can read it whenever and wherever you want.

You can read each issue in both landscape and portrait mode; zoom in to read individual stories and take a closer look at photos. And since you don’t need an Internet connection to read the issues you’ve already downloaded, you can take NEWSWEEK everywhere … even on a plane or train.

NEWSWEEK’s mission is to reveal the big ideas behind the big headlines, share unique insights and opinions and illuminate your week ahead. If you crave a deeper understanding of what’s happening, download NEWSWEEK.

Customer Reviews

Still way overpriced

I went onto the Newsweek site and can subscribe for a full year of print for $39. With the iPad version, $3 an issue is $162 for the entire year. Do these companies think we're stupid?

Too expensive

As others have expressed- the digital version pricing should be in line with yearly subscription prices for print.

Why would I pay twice?

Dear Newsweek,

As a long time subscriber, I would gladly trade in the balance of my print subscription for an iPad subscription. Surely it would save you money since you would no longer have to pay the postage. Otherwise, why would I pay $3 to read issues I am already getting in the mail? The app looks nice and I love reading magazines on my iPad. So what do you say, let's make a deal!
