Earlier this week when Grub Street caught up with Khyber owner Stephen Simons about what was next for the once great rock club, he said that he, partner Dave Frank and their chef, Mark McKinney were kicking around several ideas, none of which he was willing to reveal. As of today, the trio has made up their minds, according to Meal Ticket. The Khyber’s next move will be izakaya, as in a Japanese-style bar serving tapas-like little bites.
