GENUKI is a budgetless organisation, managed by volunteers, who are researching FAMILY HISTORY as their HOBBY. We aim for the highest standards in the information we provide; however whilst our budget might be limitless, our physical and mental resources are not!
We cannot therefore provide 'Help Desk' type support - cannot answer specific requests for information, nor guide you personally in your research. Frequently, we will not have the specific local knowledge that you require, nor the time to seek it out on your behalf; so please DO NOT use the various web forms provided to ask us personally for help, as a refusal, or lack of response to such a request may offend.
Instead, try sending your query to one of the Gloucestershire-related Mailing Lists, or searching the archive of past messages in GLOUCESTER - one of several Mailing Lists relating to Gloucestershire, where it will be seen by a whole team of friendly, helpful people.
