NMC Virtual Learning Prizes Awarded

The New Media Consortium (NMC) has announced the 2008 cohort of Virtual Learning Prize (VLP) awardees. The NMC Virtual Learning Prize, part of a $100,000 competitive program of awards, is intended to create a collection of innovative open-source learning experiences that make use of the unique attributes of a virtual learning environment. SLCC Fellowship Awardees announced by NMC

Three educators are going to Chicago for the Second Life Community Convention. As you know, the NMC is sponsoring three registrations from bona fide educators to attend SLCC by covering their $185 registration fee with an NMC Fellowship. Each of the awardees sent a statement explaining how attending SLCC will help further his or her professional goals in the coming year. Any bona fide educator was eligible.
