Lap 200 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Kevin Harvick holds off Denny Hamlin with 11 laps to go and wins the Carfax 400 at Michigan. Harvick is now in the Chase with 10 more bonus points to add to his total after scoring his first career victory at the track.

Lap 199 -- WHITE FLAG: Kevin Harvick holds the lead, 1.92 seconds ahead of Denny Hamlin.

Lap 198 -- Tony Stewart settles into fifth, passing Greg Biffle. Juan Montoya holds onto to seventh.

Lap 196 -- Denny Hamlin has plenty of room ahead of Carl Edwards -- in third -- but is 1.35 seconds behind Kevin Harvick.

Lap 194 -- Carl Edwards is charging hard and steals third from Tony Stewart.

Lap 193 -- Tony Stewart charges back into third and is chasing Denny Hamlin for second. Kevin Harvick increases his lead by 1.29 seconds.

Lap 191 -- Kevin Harvick settles into the lead. Matt Kenseth is picking up pace, finding the fifth spot. Jimmie Johnson races into 12th. Jeff Gordon is in 27th.

Lap 189 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kevin Harvick passes Denny Hamlin for the 17th lead change of the race.

Lap 188 -- Kevin Harvick is on the bumper of Denny Hamlin and trying to get by the No. 11 as the two race for bonus points.

Lap 186 -- Matt Kenseth is charging and joined the mix for fifth. Clint Bowyer had dropped to 16th with no grip. Kyle Busch nearly loses the car in the corner but recovers.

Lap 185 -- Denny Hamlin takes the high line away from Kevin Harvick in Turns 1 and 2, holding the lead. Tony Stewart passes Carl Edwards for third. Juan Montoya and Greg Biffle continue to fight for fifth.

Lap 183 -- Juan Montoya and Greg Biffle are putting on a show for fifth. Biffle passes Montoya on the backstretch then loses the spot in Turn 4.

Lap 182 -- Carl Edwards is challenging for fifth but can't pass Juan Montoya at the start/finish line. Jeff Gordon had to bail out of the throttle and continues to have problems with the car.

Lap 180 -- Kevin Harvick can't hold the throttle on the low side and fails to pass Denny Hamlin for the lead.

Lap 178 -- LEAD CHANGE: Denny Hamlin gets a push from Kevin Harvick and takes the lead.

Lap 177 -- Tony Stewart is holding on to the lead as Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick and Greg Biffle close the gap.

Lap 176 -- Greg Biffle makes good with four tires and finds the fourth spot.

Lap 174 -- Denny Hamlin charges into second, passing Kevin Harvick. Marcos Ambrose does battle with Greg Biffle for fifth. Biffle took four tires and is using them to his advantage after his pit stop.

Lap 173 -- Marcos Ambrose has found the top five as Tony Stewart holds the lead.

Lap 172 -- GREEN FLAG: Tony Stewart leads the field to green, followed by Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, Regan Smith and Scott Speed after pit stops shuffle the front of the field. Twenty-eight cars are on the lead lap.

Lap 169 -- Tony Stewart stays out with Kevin Harvick. Kyle Busch pits and checks damage to the car after brushing the wall. Busch will lose several positions as fenders are pulled out. Matt Kenseth moves to 19th after a two-tire stop. Jeff Gordon picks up 14 positions off pit road and slides into 11th.

Lap 167 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart finds the front again. YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: Debris in Turn 2. Ryan Newman gets the free pass.

Lap 166 -- LEAD CHANGE: David Ragan gets ahead of Martin Truex Jr.

Lap 164 -- Juan Montoya has cracked the top five with 36 laps to go. Joey Logano has come to life in 14th as David Ragan closes on Martin Truex Jr.

Lap 163 -- Kyle Busch is fighting off Greg Biffle for the 10th spot.

Lap 161 -- Martin Truex Jr. continues to lead, followed by David Ragan. Greg Biffle reports his tire may be going down.

Lap 160 -- LEAD CHANGE: Martin Truex Jr. gets past Elliott Sadler. David Ragan takes second from Sadler with Tony Stewart making a charge from third.

Lap 159 -- GREEN FLAG: Elliott Sadler leads the field to green with Martin Truex Jr. on his bumper.

Lap 157 -- Jeff Gordon -- on the lead lap -- is back on pit road for more repairs and adjustments.

Lap 156 -- LEAD CHANGE: Elliott Sadler stays out and takes the lead. Fuel only for Kevin Harvick. Tony Stewart and Carl Edwards top off their tanks. Tony Stewart wins the race off of pit road. Dale Earnhardt Jr. gets the free pass. Twenty-eight cars are now on the lead lap.

Lap 155 -- From 36th to the top five, Gordon is on pit road and the crew is trying to fix a banged up fender. The rest of the field arrives on pit road. Greg Biffle takes fuel only.

Lap 154 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Jeff Gordon has damage to the the car and is trying to make it to pit road. The left-front tire appears to be down. Jeff Burton heads to pit road with bent fenders.

Lap 153 -- Kevin Harvick stretches out the lead along the backstretch. Clint Bowyer gets ahead of Jeff Gordon for sixth.

Lap 152 -- GREEN FLAG: Kevin Harvick is the man to beat as he leads the field to green, followed by Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart. Kyle Busch has has the best time off of pit road the entire day.

Lap 150 -- Ryan Newman will replace his tires and doesn't appear to have sustained much damage.

Lap 149 -- Lead-lap cars head back to pit road. Kevin Harvick takes two tires. Jeff Burton topped off his fuel, took two tires. Ryan Newman was running 15th before the caution as Joey Logano got loose and ran into the back of Newman.

Lap 148 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: Ryan Newman gets spun in Turn 4.

Lap 145 -- Kasey Kahne takes seventh away from Jeff Burton out of Turn 2 as Greg Biffle attempts to close on Kevin Harvick for the lead.

Lap 142 -- Clint Bowyer and Kasey Kahne do battle for sixth. Both drivers have run in the top 10 most of the race. Jeff Burton is holding onto eighth but Carl Edwards is closing. Brad Keselowski is reporting he may be having problems with the front splitter -- a brace may have broken, forcing the car not to turn.

Lap 140 -- Kevin Harvick heads to pit road under green, says he wants no changes, takes four tires, fuel and gets back up to speed before Greg Biffle can catch him.

Lap 139 -- Greg Biffle completes his pit stop. Jeff Gordon pits, reports the car is running well but getting tight. Carl Edwards reports a loose car on pit road. Kevin Harvick stays out and continues to lead.

Lap 137 -- Kevin Harvick opens up a 6.08 second lead over Greg Biffle. Cars near the middle of the pack have headed to pit road. A.J. Allmendinger says his car has no rear grip and is frustrated. Jimmie Johnson pits, takes four tires, a wedge adjustment and fuel. The No. 48 is slow again and loses more spots.

Lap 135 -- Jamie McMurray goes a lap down, putting 19 cars on the lead lap.

Lap 134 -- Carl Edwards is creeping closer to the front, gaining another spot, up to ninth.

Lap 132 -- Jeff Gordon continues to race a line in the middle of the track as drivers and their crew chiefs begin to contemplate fuel strategy. Gordon reports his car is getting tighter -- 7.9 seconds behind race leader Kevin Harvick.

Lap 130 -- Juan Montoya heads to pit road with a loose car, takes four tires, fuel an a wedge adjustment.

Lap 129 -- Kevin Harvick has increased his lead to 6.45 seconds over Greg Biffle. Jeff Gordon is closing on Biffle for second as Tony Stewart appears to be slowing a little.

Lap 127 -- Twenty-four cars remain on the lead lap, with Jamie McMurray in danger of being the next to go a lap down.

Lap 126 -- Jeff Gordon passes Tony Stewart for third.

Lap 124 -- Clint Bowyer reports his car is dialed in as he settles into the sixth spot. Mark Martin is running in 30th and has given up the 12th spot in the standings at this point in the race.

Lap 122 -- Carl Edwards is holding onto 10th, 16.66 seconds behind Kevin Harvick, setting the pace from the front.

Lap 120 -- As clouds hover over the track, Kevin Harvick's car has picked up as the No. 29 opens up a 4.25 second lead on Tony Stewart.

Lap 119 -- Jeff Gordon has to make up 3.2 seconds in order to challenge Greg Biffle for third.

Lap 117 -- Tony Stewart reports he's rolling faster than Kevin Harvick in the center but can't seem to close the gap.

Lap 116 -- Jeff Gordon passes Kasey Kahne for fourth and is recording some of the fastest laps of the field. Kevin Harvick has a 1.5 second lead over Tony Stewart, approaching lapped traffic.

Lap 115 -- Jeff Gordon cracks the top five and is knocking on the door of Kasey Kahne.

Lap 113 -- Greg Biffle is 2.8 seconds behind the leader and is doing his best to catch Tony Stewart, in second. Carl Edwards finds the top 10.

Lap 112 -- Greg Biffle appears to be slipping after a pit stop, which included a track bar adjustment that made his car too loose.

Lap 111 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kevin Harvick gets around Tony Stewart for the lead.

Lap 110 -- Clint Bowyer takes the fourth spot from Kasey Kahne.

Lap 109 -- Jimmie Johnson has dropped to 11th after losing time on pit road.

Lap 108 -- Kevin Harvick is challenging Greg Biffle for second. Biffle holds him off in the backstretch.

Lap 106 -- Jeff Gordon continues to hold onto seventh and is closing on Kyle Busch, in sixth.

Lap 105 -- Tony Stewart settles back into the lead, followed by Greg Biffle.

Lap 103 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart does well on pit road and takes the lead.

Lap 101 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kevin Harvick stays out as Tony Stewart pits. Stewart takes four tires. Elliott Sadler pits, takes four tires.

Lap 100 -- Jimmie Johnson pits along with Kyle Busch. Kyle Busch continues to have good pit stops. Greg Biffle pits, is loose, takes a drink, fresh tires and fuel. Denny Hamlin hits his mark perfectly, takes a track bar adjustment and is off.

Lap 99 -- Paul Menard pits under green, followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. Menard takes tires, fuel. Earnhardt Jr. is loose, takes tires, fuel.

Lap 98 -- Jeff Gordon gets past Jimmie Johnson for seventh. Juan Montoya heads to pit road after dropping back into the field. Montoya takes four tires, an air adjustment and fuel. David Reutimann pits, takes a wedge adjustment.

Lap 97 -- The man out front continues to be Tony Stewart, followed by Kevin Harvick. Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Burton and Jeff Gordon are racing hard for sixth in close formation.

Lap 95 -- Clint Bowyer rounds out the top five and fights off Jimmie Johnson for the position.

Lap 93 -- Thirty-three cars remain on the lead lap. Jeff Gordon is the biggest mover, starting 36th and currently racing teammate Jimmie Johnson for seventh.

Lap 92 -- Greg Biffle has dropped to third, giving up second to Kevin Harvick.

Lap 91 -- Denny Hamlin had electrical issues but reports his car is better than it's showing right now.

Lap 90 -- Jeff Burton has been hanging around the top 10 most of the race but reports his car is sliding around after losing six spots during their last pit stop.

Lap 89 -- Tony Stewart continues to lead. Kyle Busch isn't pleased with his car in the straightaway. Jeff Gordon continues to move toward the front, taking the eighth spot.

Lap 84 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart finds the front and passes Greg Biffle.

Lap 83 -- Greg Biffle and Tony Stewart have separated themselves from the field by more than 2.3 seconds.

Lap 82 -- Tony Stewart has tracked down Greg Biffle, tried to take the lead but can't get it done on the backstretch.

Lap 80 -- Denny Hamlin started the race in 33rd, but owns the 11th spot as we approach the half-way mark of the race.

Lap 78 -- Kyle Busch is holding steady in fifth and has a 1.2 second lead over Kasey Kahne, running in sixth.

Lap 77 -- Greg Biffle continues to lead as Jeff Gordon continues to impress, racing Denny Hamlin for ninth.

Lap 75 -- Jeff Gordon is on the move, racing Jeff Burton for 10th. Burton lets Gordon go.

Lap 74 -- Jimmie Johnson dives to the low side and attempts to take the third spot from Kevin Harvick. Harvick holds him off as clouds over the track appear to be cooling this off.

Lap 73 -- Jeff Gordon is about to crack the top 10 after starting the race in 36th. Kevin Harvick gives up second to Tony Stewart and reports he may have a flat tire.

Lap 72 -- Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart are trading the second spot behind Greg Biffle.

Lap 71 -- Kevin Harvick appears to have brushed the wall but little, if any damage has been reported.

Lap 70 -- Joey Logano and Paul Menard connect but save their cars. Carl Edwards gets around Dale Earnhardt Jr. for 17th.

Lap 69 -- Martin Truex Jr. may have problems with the car, dropping to 14th. Tony Stewart gains two spots and claims second. Jimmie Johnson rounds out the top five.

Lap 68 -- Tony Stewart is fighting back for second, challenging Kyle Busch for second.

Lap 67 -- Greg Biffle squeezes Kevin Harvick and holds the lead. Kyle Busch moves into second.

Lap 66 -- GREEN FLAG: Greg Biffle leads the field to green form the outside, followed by Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart.

Lap 65 -- One lap to go until green. The race is shaping up to be an interesting fight for the 12th spot in the standings as Mark Martin returns to pit road and Clint Bowyer runs in the top 10.

Lap 64 -- Jeff Gordon has dropped to 20th and isn't happy with a 15.1 second pit stop.

Lap 63 -- A cell of thunderstorms moving into the area appears to be shifting away from the track. Mark Martin's bad day continues as he returns to pit road with litter on the grill and damage to the front.

Lap 61 -- Lead-lap cars head to pit road. Greg Biffle takes tires, fuel. Jimmie Johnson takes four tires, wedge adjustment. Kevin Harvick takes four tires, fuel. Mark Martin is tight, calls for several adjustments. Kyle Busch gains five spots off of pit road. Martin Truex Jr. loses five. Greg Biffle's pit crew missed the tape on the front of his grill during his first pit stop, but Biffle requested they leave it alone and reports the car is running strong.

Lap 60 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 2: A light rain is falling in Turn 3 bringing out the yellow. Not much, but enough to warrant slowing the field.

Lap 59 -- Juan Montoya says his car is so loose, he can't hold onto it. Matt Kenseth holds onto 10th but is challenged by Carl Edwards.

Lap 57 -- Carl Edwards comes to life and takes the 11th spot from David Reutimann. Juan Montoya isn't happy with the adjustments made on pit road.

Lap 56 -- Kevin Harvick seems content to run in second for now. Jimmie Johnson is 3.3 seconds behind the two, in third.

Lap 55 -- Kevin Harvick is on the bumper of Greg Biffle as they approach the start/finish line.

Lap 54 -- Kevin Harvick is about two car lengths behind Greg Biffle and take the same line into Turn 3.

Lap 53 -- Carl Edwards moves into 12th, up 12 spots since the start of the race.

Lap 51 -- Greg Biffle still leads, followed by Kevin Harvick and Jimmie Johnson. Juan Montoya rounds out the top 10.

Lap 48 -- It didn't take Kevin Harvick long to find Tony Stewart, passing the No. 14 on the high side and claiming the second spot. Harvick is currently the fastest car on the track. Martin Truex Jr. rounds out the top five.

Lap 46 -- Kevin Harvick passes Jimmie Johnson for third but has a ways to go to reach Tony Stewart in second.

Lap 45 -- David Reutimann joins the mix, passing Ryan Newman for 13th.

Lap 43 -- Jeff Burton races under Kasey Kahne but can't pass for seventh.

Lap 41 -- Tony Stewart continues to challenge Greg Biffle for the lead. Jimmie Johnson makes his way back into third as Clint Bowyer fights off Kasey Kahne for seventh.

Lap 40 -- Juan Montoya passes Clint Bowyer for fifth as Martin Truex Jr. finds the sixth spot.

Lap 39 -- GREEN FLAG: Greg Biffle leads the field to green, followed by Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer.

Lap 36 -- Greg Biffle has his grill cleaned, reports the car is a tough loose, takes four tires. Jimmie Johnson gets fuel, a chassis adjustment. Jeff Burton gets an air adjustment. Kevin Harvick is tight, calls for four tires, major air pressure adjustment. Matt Kenseth picks up five spots during the race off pit road.

Lap 35 -- Greg Biffle shuts off to conserve fuel and is ready to make a trip to pit road.

Lap 33 -- Mark Martin falls to the back of the field as Clint Bowyer runs in the top five.

Lap 32 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Kurt Busch has blown an engine and headed to the garage. This is his second DNF of the season. His last came at Pocono.

Lap 31 -- Jimmie Johnson reports a loose car and has dropped to fourth. Kevin Harvick continues to challenge Greg Biffle for the lead. Mark Martin has pulled into pit road under green, takes four tires and reports the car is too tight.

Lap 29 -- Greg Biffle and Kevin Harvick are coming up on lapped traffic. Kyle Busch and Ryan Newman do battle for 17th, taking separate lines on the track.

Lap 28 -- Kevin Harvick is closing on Greg Biffle as the two drivers take the high side into Turn 1.

Lap 27 -- Kasey Kahne has dropped six spots into the seventh position. Juan Montoya falls to ninth.

Lap 25 -- Greg Biffle continues to run his Ford at the front, followed by Kevin Harvick. Joe Nemechek is out of the race.

Lap 23 -- Michael McDowell heads to the garage, followed by P.J. Jones.

Lap 21 -- Greg Biffle has picked up some trash on the front of his grill, but continues to lead. Kevin Harvick passes Tony Stewart for second.

Lap 20 -- Jeff Gordon cracks the top 15 and has gained 22 positions since the start of the race.

Lap 19 -- All three of the RCR cars are running in the top seven. Kevin Harvick moves into third.

Lap 18 -- Tony Stewart bumps Jimmie Johnson back to third and Kevin Harvick claims the fourth spot.

Lap 17 -- Greg Biffle maintains the lead. Clint Bowyer reports he is happy with the car and continues to take an aggressive line.

Lap 15 -- LEAD CHANGE: Greg Biffle passes Jimmie Johnson on the high side and takes the lead.

Lap 14 -- Greg Biffle is getting a good run off of the corners and closing on Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 13 -- Jeff Gordon continues to make a move toward the front moving up 18 positions.

Lap 12 -- Greg Biffle gets past Tony Stewart for second.

Lap 10 -- Jimmie Johnson has settled into the lead and sets the pace with a 1.7 second lead over Tony Stewart. Greg Biffle is challenging for second.

Lap 8 -- Paul Menard drops a spot and out of the top 10. Jeff Burton holds onto eighth.

Lap 7 -- Greg Biffle gets around Kasey Kahne for third. Tony Stewart continues to chase Jimmie Johnson for the lead.

Lap 4 -- Jimmie Johnson continues to lead. Jeff Burton moves up three spots to eighth. Mark Martin has made contact with the wall and reports the car is tight.

Lap 3 -- Jeff Gordon is running fast laps and moving up 10 spots to 26th.

Lap 2 -- Tony Stewart takes over second, passing Kasey Kahne.

Lap 1 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jimmie Johnson gets the jump on Kasey Kahne and leads the first lap.

1:18 p.m. -- GREEN FLAG: Kasey Kahne leads the field to green as the Carfax 400 is under way for 200 laps of racing at Michigan.

1:12 p.m. -- The drivers are rolling off pit road for warm-up laps.

1:07 p.m. -- Virginia Craig and Evander Holyfield give the command: "Gentlemen, start your engines!"

1:01 p.m. -- Saving Abel performs an interesting rendition of the national anthem.

1 p.m. -- Pastor Doug Bradshaw delivers the Invocation.

Noon -- NASCAR Countdown is under way on ESPN.

11:50 a.m. ET -- It's partly cloudy at Michigan International Speedway for the Carfax 400. It's currently 80 degrees and there is a slight chance for thunderstorms in the early afternoon. Green is set for 1:18 p.m. ET with Kasey Kahne on the pole.
