Carl Edwards will make his 11th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start at Pocono Raceway in this weekend’s Gillette Fusion ProGlide 500.
In 10 starts at the 2.5-mile track, he has two wins, four top-five and five top-10 finishes. He has an average start of 22.4 and an average finish of 13.4. This will be the first of several weekends Edwards will have a split schedule between different tracks. He will also be competing in the Nationwide race Saturday in Nashville.-Roush Fenway Racing

Carl Edwards wins the Coors Light Pole Award for the Tech-Net Auto Service 300 powered by CARQUEST with a lap of 28.889 seconds, 186.922 mph.
This is the No. 60 Ford driver's 20th pole in 188 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. It is his second pole and 12th top-10 start in 2010. This is Edwards' fourth pole in 11 races at Charlotte Motor Speedway. -NASCAR PR

Carl Edwards enters the Coca-Cola 600 10th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings, 281 markers behind point leader Kevin Harvick.
He will make his 11th Cup start at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. In his previous starts, Edwards has four top-five and seven top-10 finishes. His average start is 20.6, and his average finish is 12.9. He has completed 3449 of 3502 (98.5%) of laps attempted at CMS. Of the 3449 laps Edwards has completed, he has led 34 of them. This was the No. 99 Ford driver's fifth appearance in the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

Carl Edwards will make his second appearance in the Sprint Showdown at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend.
In his previous start Edwards started on the pole and finished third. He also has four starts in the All Star race with two top-five and three top-10 finishes. Carl Edwards will make his 205th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start and his 12th at Dover.
He has seven top-10 finishes in 11 starts at Dover. The 30-year-old Columbia, Mo., native has won 16 races and has 104 top-10 finishes in 204 Sprint Cup starts. He captured the 2007 NASCAR Nationwide Series title. 2010 marks Edwards’ sixth full year in Sprint Cup with a career-best point finish of second in 2008.
