Nicole Dryburgh lost her fight for life a few weeks ago. I met Nicole when she received a special award from the Diana Award. She had gone blind and was wheel-chair bound but she kept working tirelessly for others. Nicole was brilliant and brave. She will be remembered at a special service in Canterbury today, below is the letter we sent to her family.

REMEMBERING NICOLE DRYBURGH
It was a great privilege to meet with Nicole. We were so deeply impressed with her. There are few souls in the world who, despite their suffering, bring light and love into other’s lives. Nicole was a shining example of such a brave soul, beautiful, compassionate and positive, raising so much money to help others, writing books, inspiring everyone with her warmth and own inspiration. Her heart belonged to the world. She communicated brilliantly with her interpreter by her side, but her shining spirit communicated so much more to everyone who had the good fortune of meeting with her. We won’t forget her, and what she has done will never be forgotten. Nicole was proud of her family as they were of her, and we extend our love, prayers, and good wishes especially to them. We know what it is like to miss a very special person.
