  I recently read this very apt comment on Western civilisation. “ It is being uprooted from it's foundations in nature and tradition and is being reconstituted in a new organisation which is artificial and mechanical as a modern factory. As the Alistair Darling victims continue to suffer, ignored by just about everyone, we have to wonder why it is that unless there is blood and gore it goes unreported. On the 8th of October 2008, the British treasury minister - Mr Alistair Darling - decided to place the Kaupthing HF bank, based in the UK, into liquidation. However, the Kaupthing Singer and Freidlander bank based in the Isle of Man had over 30% of its depositors assets in Kaupthing HF, appoximately £552 Million, and therefore was forced to immediately cease trading itself. Taking everyone by suprise, the ambush by the British Government on its own people caught many people unawares. I have a grudge against the old hypocrite myself, he having destroyed the indulgence market in which I had invested heavily.
