Brief History

Alabama Baptist Retirement Centers was established in 1975. We now have four retirement centers located on three sites. Baptist Village, built in 1980 and Hutto Tower, built in 1982, are in Dothan; Eastview, built in 1989, is in Montgomery and Knollwood, built in 1990, is in Roanoke.

Mission Statement
Alabama Baptist Retirement Centers seeks to minister to the elderly in three major areas:

Directly in our own campuses of care

Indirectly as we assist churches in establishing and strengthening ministries in area retirement facilities

Educationally as we offer educational programs in churches and associations that call attention to the needs of the elderly

Our Residents:
Our residents are not dependent upon us...
we are dependent upon them.
Our residents are not an interruption of our work...
they are the purpose of it.
Our residents are not outsiders to our business...
they are our business.
Our residents are not cold statistics...
they are people created in God's image.
Our residents deserve to be treated as we will deserve
to be treated when we live where they live!
