Sri Lankan government provides relief assistance to the Pakistani flood victims. Accordingly, Sri Lankan government has taken steps to send around 18 thousand kilogram dry rations to the affected families in Pakistan. The air force spokesman Group Captain Janaka Nanayakkara said these loads of dry rations will be dispatched to Islamabad through an air force plane C-130. Meanwhile, a group of doctors will also be sent to treat the patients who were affected by floods in Pakistan. The Health Ministry said these doctors will leave for Pakistan under the instruction of President Mahinda Rajapakse.
