Welcome to Kenilworth

Welcome to Kenilworth

We hope that you will find your visit interesting and informative. Kenilworth is a small and historic town in the green heart of Warwickshire itself at the centre of England. We think that the town is a real gem well worth exploring with much to offer the visitor.

As you can see we have the ruins of England’s most important lake fortress, the remains of a medieval monastery, interesting architecture, superb restaurants, a variety of small shops, & great places to stay. Kenilworth is also the perfect base from which to visit the multitude of interesting places nearby. So whatever the time of year Kenilworth is a great choice for a short break or longer holiday.

The site is always being updated to reflect what’s happening in the town so please come back and visit again.

Many of the photos on this website are courtesy of Mark Pawlowski who in conjunction with local historian, John Drew, has produced “Kenilworth: Portrait of a Town and Castle” (ISBN: 0947764283) a collection of stunning photographs of the town.

The book is available locally from Kenilworth Books in Talisman Square (01926 855784) and via Amazon priced £19.95

Aerial photos contained on the site come from Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
