Just wondering who everything thinks has the most explosive offense in NCAA?

I'm a little biased, and haven't seen too many teams play, but there can't be too many better than Arkansas'.

I'm biased as well but Oregon has to be up there.

We lead the nation in points scored so far too!!

too early in the season to even try to crown someone yet, but 72 points sure is alot. hopefully it was a fluke ;)

I'd say Oregon at the current time, they've had an explosive offense for several years now.

Cant really tell after one game

It's early in the year to be predicting this kind of stuff or explaining yourself. Give it two more weeks and then we can do it.

Posted on 9/9 11:07 PM | IP: Logged

I can't think of an offense better than Oregon's.

Posted on 9/9 11:08 PM | IP: Logged

I didn't watch the Oregon game, but the stat sheet looked impressive. Wasn't it like 59 at the half? I know a lot of people talk about schools like Houston, but for me its hard to say how explosive they are based on the teams they play.

I'm a little biased but I think A&M;'s is the best! Yeah!

Posted on 9/9 11:09 PM | IP: Logged

Well since everyone else is being biased.....

I think Alabama's offense is pretty explosive.

Posted on 9/9 11:10 PM | IP: Logged

Oregon.

Posted on 9/9 11:13 PM | IP: Logged

Tell ya what...that Bama/Ark game in a few weeks is going to be huge.

I don't think Bama has the most explosive O in the game, although, our D will prob. make it look that way.

Obviously, it's the team whose 2nd string running back makes the cover of Sports Illustrated the first week of the season. Hello, Trent Richardson.

Posted on 9/9 11:21 PM | IP: Logged

Like i said, you cant honestly tell which team has the most explosive offense after just one game.

I think they've been the highest scoring team over the past 10 years. I'll go with Oregon this year too till proven wrong.

Posted on 9/9 11:31 PM | IP: Logged

Whoa, whoa. We're not talking about the last 10 years, we are talking about today. Oregon has had 2 head coaches and like 26 different assistant coaches in the last 10 years - as have many teams - so let's just talk about this year.

I'm open to the possibility that Arkansas is not the correct answer, but since Arkansas, for once, is a totally legit answer to this question - I'm going with Arkansas.

Honorable Mention:

Florida State
Oregon
Texas AM
South Carolina...that might be a stretch, but Ashlon Jeffrey...damn...

I'm not biased and I think Oregon has the best by far. And a I base that on last year, your offense was awesome then, so what's to say it's not now, especially since you beat the absolute hell out of an average team, which is a lot more than many others can say. I love your offense. Your QB to runner hand-off is off SO fast. It's like HIKE and the runner is gone. I love it. I worry very much about playing you next year.

Cincinnati...no wait, Kansas!

Posted on 9/10 12:01 AM | IP: Logged

Give me break last 2 years U-H hands down. Returning all recievers and best QB in college. Rivals 1 pick for QB and recievers this year. Maybe you might want to watch the game tonight, and see what offense is all about.

Posted on 9/10 7:31 PM | IP: Logged

Oregon did not even score in the 4th quarter. It could have been 100-0 or worse.

Posted on 9/10 7:36 PM | IP: Logged

Right now it is...

Oregon

8 or 10 other teams

the rest.

Posted on 9/10 7:38 PM | IP: Logged

Right now? Oregon. Still early in the season though.

Most everything thinks Arkansas is the one...

Posted on 9/10 7:43 PM | IP: Logged

Too early.I'll wait till after the games Saturday.By then I don't think Oregon will be such a clear cut favorite.

Posted on 9/10 7:46 PM | IP: Logged

North Texas

Posted on 9/10 8:00 PM | IP: Logged

Oregon should be, but I still don't think one game against New Mexico is a good indication. Let's play Tennessee's defense before we start to look at comparisons.

Posted on 9/10 8:09 PM | IP: Logged

As most have said, wayyyy too early to know just yet. I'll make a homer comment and say FSU has a chance this year though.

Mike Bellotti becomes Oregon OC in 1989, then HC in 1995-2008. Gary Campbell 28 years at Oregon, Steve Greatwood 25 years at Oregon, Don Pellum 23 years at Oregon, Nick Aliotti 20 years at Oregon and we just recently replaced a couple of coaches who had long careers at Oregon. Not to many other schools have had a large part of there staff stick around that long. The biggest revolving door over the years at Oregon has been the OC's because they get head coaching jobs after being at Oregon.

If you go by stats, these are the top 5 teams with the most yards:
Oregon
Air Force
Alabama
Hawaii
Tulsa

Call me back around week 6.

Posted on 9/10 9:38 PM | IP: Logged

My neutrality on this subject should be obvious, so, I will go with the, hmmmmm, Hogs.
