Ubisoft has revealed more details for its new multiplayer mode in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
The new mode, playable from October 4 for PS3 owners who pre-order the game, will allow players to pick from nine different characters.
The available characters include an axe-wielding executioner, a doctor with a deadly syringe, a rather violent Priest and the agile courtesan.
The beta will feature two gameplay modes with up to eight players in each mode. The 'Wanted' mode will pits players against each other in a race to get the highest score by killing their assigned targets.
'Alliance' pairs up players and challenges them to fulfill various contracts. The action will take place in two maps, Rome and Castel Gandolfo.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is scheduled to release on November 19 on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Ubi Montreal's Mission Designer, Gaelec Simard, has said Brotherhood is set to feature the biggest Assassin's City yet it is 'three times bigger' than AC2.
