Alabama sophomore running back Trent Richardson has been named the Southeastern Conference's co-Offensive Player of the Week, sharing the recognition with South Carolina freshman running back Marcus Lattimore.

Richardson compiled 207 all-purpose yards Saturday in the top-ranked Crimson Tide's 24-3 victory over No. 18 Penn State. He ran 22 times for 144 yards and one touchdown, caught four passes for 46 yards and had a 17-yard kickoff return.

In his first SEC game, Lattimore ran 37 times for 182 yards and scored the game's only two touchdowns in a 17-6 victory over Georgia.

The spot that at 1st looked like Trent made the 1st down, I thought he might have been short on replay.

But if the game had been still in question, I think Nick could have easily challenged the one where Mac dove over the 1st down line.

But I agree with Nick taking it easy on Joe Pa.... The torch has been passed, no reason to rub his nose in it.

Look at that picture of Fluker holding. You cheating bammers. Cam "Six Heisman" Newton don't need no holding to win SEC player of the week. We got Game Day and you don't bammers. You bunch of cheating club short lacoste wearing country club cheaters. That's what you is bammer. Oh well, you know what they say, "bammers will be bammers." WDE! WCE! GIHA! GILA! TIGER PROWL! BCW!

Be proud, Auburn should be able to beat Clemson but I don't have much faith in them against the harder teams they play after.

Also, you should probably keep up on football and game day a little better before you post something like this. It was in Tuscaloosa this weekend for the Penn State vs Alabama game making your comment look stupid. The holding/cheating comment I have come to expect from typical Auburn fans who apparently don't watch much football.

So you don't think that is holding?

Well, in the picture it does look like holding, and I know Fluker got away with one holding call.

On the other hand, your sense of humor leaves a lot to be desired. "Hide ya kids, Hide yo wife" AU forum post? Really? Since when was an attack on a woman funny, auprogrammer? That's more of a post an uneducated redneck would make, not a professional. It's not funny, and fortunately few did other than yourself. Pat yourself on the back for that one, I know you got a good snicker out of it. And I and hopefully many others lost all respect for you.

Besides, the story is about Trent Richardson and Marcus Lattimore sharing honors for sharing SEC Offensive Player of the Week. Hats off to them for their performances.

I don't see any evidence of holding whatsoever. The only hand of Fluker's that can be seen is not grasping or holding on to anything and the hand in the back can not be seen. The position of the Penn State player can easily be explained as in the process of making a cut and he is using his hand as a way of pushing off of Fluker to get in front of him.

How can you say it is holding? One hand isn't touching the guy, and the other hand is behind him so we can't see it.

Based on what I can see in the picture, the only thing I know for sure, is the guy's shirt is hiked up. My guess is someonepulled it over his head while someone else yanked his jockstrap up over his helmet in atomic wedgy fashion. But cheating? Is there a rule against that?

TH13TEEN September 13, 2010 at 2:41PM

Game Day came to Title Town when there were a lot of BIG games that Saturday. Florida State at Oklahoma, Michigan at Notre Dame, Miami at Ohio State...

Yet Title Town held the honors. Must be a slow week in college football this Saturday.
