Chidzambga: 'No interference'

Posted: 2010-09-21 07:10

Former Free State Stars coach Sunday Chidzambga has dismissed any form of suggestion that he resigned from the Ea Lla Koto due to interference from club management.

Chidzambga and Stars shocked the local football fraternity yesterday when they terminated their relationship with the former citing personal problems as reasons for leaving the Bethlehem based club.
Ea Lla Koto have since recalled Steve Komphela to lead the team as head coach for the remainder of this season.
Speaking to KickOff.com last night, the former Zimbabwean national team coach says he enjoyed a good relationship with Free State Stars management, including club owner Mike Mokoena.
"There was no form of interference and I always enjoyed a good relationship with the club management. It even took a lot of effort to convince the club owner to release me from my contract but there are pressing personal matters that I have to attend to back home in Zimbabwe.
"I have left Free State Stars in good faith and am grateful for the chance that the club afforded me to coach in South Africa."
Chidzambga has however not ruled out the possibility of returning to coach in South Africa this season.
"I like the country, the standard of football is high and the League is very competitive. I would not mind returning back to the country if I get another offer, but that can only happen in December after I have sorted out my personal problems in Zimbabwe."
The former Free State Stars coach says he will be leave the country either on Thursday or Friday.

This man is a COWARD , he never finishes his contract on any job.
Good ridance , reports that he was earning 10,000 per mth are useless.

Say that again bro.....u remember another con- coach by the name of Parreira, milked our our country and vanished( family matters). When the loot dried-up, he came back to lead our national team down the drain (1st host to be shown the door in the 1st round). Went back home as a hero.

Should Pitso fail, expect him back to lead us to Brazil.

For the sake of not TAINTING one's CV,an agreement is reached whereby the coach has to admit to leaving his job rather than being fired.
