In Your Community

Photograph Supervisory Special Agent Brett Hovington What can the FBI do for local communities? Many things. We invite you to learn about our community partnerships, our citizens' academies, and our mentoring programs for kids. We hope you enjoy our local stories and use our resources to be "crime smart." We know that our success against crime and terrorism only happens with your support and understanding, and we are proud to serve you.

FBI Citizens' Academy Logo

This fall, the FBI National Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association will launch its first-ever FBI Community Relations Executive Seminar Training (CREST) programs focused on cultural understanding and racial healing. The Alumni Association was recently awarded a $40,000 grant by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to conduct 16 events, which will be held over the next four years in cities across the country. The CREST program serves as a means to exchange information between the FBINCAAA, FBI and participating communities.
