The Edmonton Oilers are proud to support minor hockey and ringette teams and charitable organizations in Northern Alberta through the 50/50 program that takes place at every Oilers home game. Tickets are sold for $2 each with one lucky winner taking home 50% of the pot – up to $30,000! After expenses, the remainder is granted to the minor hockey or ringette team who sold tickets that night or in the case of charitable organizations, the proceeds are split between the charity selling tickets and the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. Last season, over $1.2 million was given back to minor hockey and ringette teams and charitable organizations focusing on youth, education and/or health and wellness.
