This movie is beyond bad.Even the special effects feel tired.This movie did everything it could to rip off the others.Even the quote"you're in my world now *itch" from Freddy vs Jason.This movie is bad in all areas....and the guy playing Freddy is horrible and looks ridiculous.Movie is gutter at best.

A Nightmare on Elm Street without Robert England is like Star Wars without Darth Vader. You could remake it a 100s and his role as Freddy is just too legendary to replace. This movie was ok, but Freddy's was just not the role it should have been. That was the wow factor it needed. Should have green screened him. His voice and laugh gave Kruger the iconic of nightmares.

Although not liked by many people I find if you watch this movie as it's own movie and not compare it to the original it is a good movie, the only problem I have is with the female lead having zero charisma and just sleep walking through the film no pun intended

Thrilling, Violent and it does what the 1984 version couldn't do. Wes Craven's original idea was to have Freddy Krueger be a PDF-ile who is burned to death by the parents of his victims. A lot of people didn't like the overall blandness of this movie, but it's a cautionary tale about being wary of who you trust with your children. I for one loved it.
