Rockstar has announced it will be released the 'Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack', which will be available to download from October 12.

The free DLC pack will contain two new outfits and the associated challenges which need to be completed to unlock them. The outfits were originally candidates in the GameStop Red Dead Referendum Pre-Order fan vote.

The Savvy Merchant outfit allows players to get their hands on valuable firepower. Equipping the outfit lets players buy guns and ammunition from any gunsmith for half the cost.

The Expert Hunter gives players double the amount of skins and hides from hunting. The pack also adds a new animal to the wild west - the Jackalope.

The Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack will also include a compatibility update that allows players who don't have the Liars and Cheats Pack and/or the Legends & Killers Pack the to see other players that do who are playing as characters from Red Dead Revolver or the Red Dead Redemption single player story.

To play as those characters yourself you'll have to purchase the Liars and Cheats or Legends and Killers Packs.

Rockstar has revealed a handful of new screenshots for its upcoming Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare DLC pack.

I want free horse armour, not like that other game......

Definitley was on PSN beginnig of last month, cause I downloaded it. But it has since been removed cause I told my mate about it a few weeks ago and it was no longer on the store. Still in my DL list though. Must've been a slip up.

I knew I shouldnt have traded RDR so early
Oh well I dont really regret it. Pressing and holding X for 70% of the game isn't my sort of fun.

This came out months ago, I got it. It was removed for having bugs though.

pointless now, you cannot play as John after you complete the final mission, the end was a huge let down :(

Sigh

It's good to see devs like R* support their games with multiple DLC packs, rather than other devs whom just roll out 2, *cough* Infinity Ward *cough*. In a whole year i might add.

Just look at Naughty Dog with uncharted 2, that's been out for nearly a year and they're still supporting it now. It's good.

Haven't played Red Dead in a long time.
Might start playing it again for this and the zombie thing.

For people who haven't played RDR in a long time or traded it in, you mustn't have played it online, or you are opposed to DLC on principle... The two major paid DLC packs add some decent multiplayer modes and the Undead Nightmare pack looks set to inject a genuinely great single player campaign.

I'm not a major online gamer, but with RDR you can essentially have single player plus - grinding your way through free roam and teaming up with (or popping a few shots at) other players without having to get bueried into a full on tournament or deathmatch... Even though those are also fantastic.

MattKCW & John William: They were talking about releasing these with the free update a while back but I didn't think they did in the end (I was looking!). Seems odd that two skins with collect tasks attached would be removed due to bugs... Correct me if I'm wrong!

alan666: Were you the one moaning about this before and saying he should have chucked dynamite at the feds/army?! Narratively the ending and the aftermath were a great decision and made perfect sense in the context of the story. If you're that bothered by not controlling John, just reload a pre-endgame save or start again!

I downloaded the pack and it did exist for a short period. I did wonder why there was no fanfare from R* on twitter facebook etc. I only completed the expert hunter challenges including the harder than it sounds 'kill a cougar with dynamite' so wonder if I need to download it again? The jackalope was a let down though, a rabbit with antlers? One shot kill!
