Here's another new GoldenEye 007 trailer for fans of the N64 original to put under a microscope for evidence that it'll live up to the legend.

Does it stand a chance? It's easy to be skeptical. But it's looking pretty solid and surely playing it through at least once is mandatory for any proper fan, if only to geek out over familiarities in the levels.

Game's out November 5.

Cheers Ste for the links, definitely gonna pre-order now. Had my doubts initially that they could pull this off, but the more I see, the more it impresses.

I think even at this stage it is fare to say the single player is already far superior than the original. Obviously the new technology helps, but things like destructible environments, the voice acting, improved close combat etc. all combine to make the single player mode a much more immersive experience.

Fingers crossed the multi-player is right up there with the original in terms of map designs, re playability, addictiveness and just overall fun.

Still interested to see CoD Black Ops for the Wii and whether it will come with the rumored headset for voice chat

if it does I may be purchasing two FPS games for my Wii in November! :D Only a month to go so I'm hoping for an impressive reveal.

Jeez the new version looks incredibly dated....like Battlefield 1942 tech on the PC (8 or so years old).

No need to cross my fingers I know this is badass!

MP is sick so dont worry about that, it really will rekindle the old skool sessions round yours or a mates house with 3 others.

I just really hope they still have the "da da, da, daaaa" when you die lol as that was awesome to rage your mates up.

All in all I believe this to be the best Wii shooter, and potentially the best we will see (well until Eurocom do another) which the no doubt will after people see what they can do given the chance!

Well played Activision, Eurocom and Nintendo for making this happen!
