5-Year Programs

Get a major jump on your graduate engineering education — get your bachelor's and master's degrees in just five years! We offer accelerated programs in chemical, civil, computer, electrical and mechanical engineering, and engineering management.

Aircraft Energy Harvesting and Management Ph.D. Assistantship

The assistantship will focus on the development of energy harvesting and management strategies for aircrafts. One specific research item would be to evaluate the use of thermoelectric energy conversion devices to recover waste heat from aircrafts. Green card or citizenship is required. Contact the Department of  Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering for more information.

Chi Epsilon

This society for civil engineers honors individuals who make significant contributions to the civil engineering profession. Cooperative Education

In the ETHOS service program, students help integrate technology with global cultures and communities. Learn, Lead and Serve Fund Grants

If you're looking to make a positive impact on the community while exploring engineering concepts, the School of Engineering Learn, Lead and Serve (LLS) Fund can help. The LLS grants are given to encourage students to perform domestic and international research in engineering topics while serving community organizations. Individual grants range from $1,000 to $2,000, and higher amounts are available for team projects. Applications are accepted each semester.
