Web Developer - (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL)

Job Purpose & Reporting

.NET Web Developer. Responsible for scaling ATP's digital platform, integrating systems, creating efficient workflows and leveraging distributed architecture to naturally grow reach, engagement and monetization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop deep understand of existing Digital Platform including associated databases, data sources and dependencies, workflow, information architecture, and legacy systems still in production
• Maintain and enhance existing Web applications
• Support and develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, high-level traffic, real-time information sharing
• Develop new Web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications
• Perform complete testing of Web applications–unit and system, engaging users as necessary
• Implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use and improving efficiency.
• Designs and codes superior technical solutions, enforces coding standards
• Recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions
• Responsible for the end-user experience via the interface, sitemap, site architecture, feeds architecture and back-end code functionality
• Work closely with visual designers to bridge design and engineering work effort
• Determine needs, evaluate functional/information requirements, develop effective information structure and hierarchies and create user technical and conceptual models and documentation
• Leverages cognitive phenomenon , technology & backend data structures to enhance the user experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Industry knowledge – Experience in web development and coding focusing on developing tactical solutions and larger design systems
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design
• Experience developing Web applications and content management systems
• Programming experience in C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, XML/XSLT
• xperience working with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008
• Website technologies experience (PhotoShop, Flash MS/Actionscripting , Dreamweaver, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, ASP, HTML, DHTML, Java Script, CSS)
• Experience developing Web applications for high level traffic consumer facing websites
• Experience working in a caching environment
• Strong technical background
• Excellent portfolio of work and evidence of depth of knowledge in interactive projects
• Application knowledge including .NET as a focus
