Covet Vintage Co. Sequined Top – Fendi Vintage Sunglasses – Bardot Tulle Skirt - Rubi Lucy BootsLove on my arm

I thought I’d share my latest outfit post with my lovely LG-ers as well :)

So it seems that I have an affinity to vintage sequins – which does make sense. Unless they are hand-stitched, sequined pieces “now” tend to have that slight tackiness to me, with a few exceptions. The slightly sharp shoulders and almost-sweater cut of this amazing top (with a huge thanks to the lovely Ellin of Covet Vintage Co.) stamps it as thumbs up, and cinching it with my favourite Bardot skirt makes me want to dance that much more. Swish swish.

You all remember my manic jumping up and down over my vintage Fendi sunnies I got for a steal a few weeks ago – so here they are in all their glory. I’m liking how the gold frames pick up where the gold trim on the neckline and sleeves left off.

Before we freak out and think Miss Margaret has gotten a tattoo (scroll down and you’ll see how fabulously convincing or unconvincing it is), today was To Write Love On Her Arms Day here in Australia, which is a movement dedicated to helping the fight against depression, addiction, self-harm and suicide. So if there’s a day or an hour before you go to bed, write love on your arm – and if people ask, tell them.

I am dying, positively dying in the most Rachel Zoe-esque of ways over the glorious footwear of Meadham Kirchhoff S/S 2011. The clunky heel and platform tell me that these shoes are probably comfier than Crocs, and way more beautiful. The pastel colours remind of the childhood joys of Easter Egg hunting, while the glitter reminds me of the mixed-media collages I made in kindergarten art. The combined beautify and function is everything I have ever wanted in a shoe. Oh, how I dream of skipping around, playing hopscotch and having tea parties with them on my feet. Dear Meadham, will you oblige?

I’m sure you guys have been following LFW… For whatever reason I’m enjoying it even more than NYFW. The emphasis on emerging designers and innovative design is awesome!
Bunmi Koko’s show was so fun… you have to check out the intro! I also love the structure/ sparkle mix in Masha Mas collection.

One thing that always intrigues me is runway music. Although it’s a small part of the show, it really sets the mood… Roksanda Ilincic is the hands down winner for best LFW soundtrack. Fleetwood Mac… Bill Withers… love it!

Hey everyone! I’m Tieka from Selective Potential! I’m super excited to be blogging for you guys at LG Fashion Voice! It’ll be a great opportunity to blog about fashion, connect with the other bloggers participating and have some fun! Well, about me? I’m from west Michigan – born and raised! I live here currently with my amazing husband, Brett. We live in a small beach town right on Lake Michigan. I graduated in spring from a small art college and am now currently (frantically!) searching for a full-time position as a graphic designer! In the meantime, I blog, go see movies with Brett, scoot around town on our Buddy scooters and go to local music shows (Brett’s in a band called Tall Ships!) I mostly gab about personal style over at Selective Potential – but I definitely include a lot about Brett, our life, trips we take and adventures we have in life. Hope to see you guys over there – and super excited to hear from you guys here! It’ll be a fun season of blogging! LG has some amazing bloggers working on this project!

Hey, all! This is Raez from CHEAP THRILLS, blogging from Winnipeg, Canada–a place that’s rarely associated with fashion and glamour. But that’s where I come in!

I’m 17 years old and still in high school, but I already have dreams of making it big in the fashion industry as a fashion photographer. My blog is a documentation of my growth as a person, a fashionista and a photographer over the course of two years. On it, I like to play dress up with my friends, raid thrift stores for the perfect vintage pieces and dress in varying degrees of ecelectic (A.K.A I wear a lot of vintage and I dress according to my mood). I guess you could say that my blog and style are ever-changing.

But one thing’s for sure–I’ll always love fashion!

Hello! I’m Andrea Kerbuski. You can find me and my hair over at Blonde Bedhead. I’m a 24 year old public relations practitioner, photographer, writer and part-time graduate student living in Michigan’s capital city, Lansing with an obsession with fashion and personal style.  And stalking people on the internet, namely personal style bloggers. I’m thrilled to among the eight who will be sharing inspiration, photos and fashion tips!

Overall, I’d describe my style as minimalist, edgy and inspired by Swedish fashion. Since I prefer to dress more casually once I’m out of work, I gravitate towards versatile pieces that I can easily transition from work to play.

[Top by Zara, faux leather shorts by F21, tights by Merona, boots by Jeffrey Campbell]

[Jacket by BCBG, leggings from Nasty Gal, wedges by Aldo, tank from Nordstrom]

[Dress by American Apparel, leather jacket by For Joseph, tights c/o We love Colors, heels by Jessica Simpson]

[Skirt and belt by Ecote, wooden heels by Lucky, tee by F21]

I’m excited to be involved with LG Fashion and make new friends with fellow bloggers! Thanks for reading!

I guess the best place to start would be to say Hello hello and that I’m very excited to be here, blogging for you all as often as I can! A bit about me would be helpful. I’m Margaret all the way from Sydney, Australia. I’m 17. I smile a lot :) I write my blog, Shine By Three (clicky HERE to take a peek!) which has everything to do with fashion, style, my wardrobe, photography, adventures, art, design, interviews with the big and little names, loves, hates, you name it. Go crazy. At the moment, I’m ridiculously close to finishing my final year of high school, so blogging is a bit of a creative outlet for me, which suits just fine!

My style, I would probably describe as being wonderfully inconsistent. There are days when you’d have no idea the ensemble came out of the same wardrobe, and my favourite part is that it all comes from mixing up different pieces in weird ways (I have gone so far as to wear something upside-down inside-out). I love pulling together polar opposites, trawling vintage stores and markets, and running between excessive and bare minimums.

Very excited to be on board, and those are some of the things I’ve been up to! Let’s have a super fast Q&A: ask me anything about my blog, my style, the meaning of life… and I’ll answer them all for you in my next post :)

my dear friends, for those of you who don’t know me… probably most of you, my name is jane-elspeth, i’m 24, and i run a fashion/art/music blog called closet obsessions. its definitely not my full time job, but more of a release.  i’m a corporate merchandiser/model/artist/wanderer/traveler, i live in long beach, a nice medium between los angeles and orange county (where i grew up).  i have a passion for anything that evokes emotion, inspiration, and curiosity.  fashion is my craving, music feeds my soul, and art cures my sickness.

i’ve always been about easy, affordable, diy, make it happen, ebay, can’t afford it, fashion.  i showcase easily attainable, fashion forward, things i love to wear, without compromising me.  i don’t take free clothes in exchange for advertisment, or buy things that cost more than my rent… my fiancee would KILL me… seriously, i’m about what i love, and what i’m currently obsessed with.

xx–

Hello everyone! This is Isabel from Hipster Musings, and it is lovely to ‘meet’ you all. I hail from Canada, and am a 20 year old University student with a crippling addiction to buying vintage shoes. My style tends to veer towards the psycho-grunge end of the spectrum, but lately I’ve been enjoying dressing up in more lady-like attire. But you can guarantee I will never abandon my Doc Martens! Most of the time I act about 50 years older than my current age (incessant tea-drinking, cat-petting etc.) but having fun is always my number one priority. Blogging for LG Fashion is going to be a blast, and I hope you all enjoy the ride!

Hello Everyone!

I am Jen from Agogo Fashion! Here is a quick little intro to me… I live in LA and am a full time model and fashionista. I love everything music, fashion and art, my blog showcases my style, life and some of my work. My style is a bit vintage rocker chic while dressing how I feel. I like all things 70’s, 80’s and 90’s then I tend to add a bit of edge if needed. Which is why I am all about the LG Lotus phone… it has that sleek edgy look that I’m drawn too and keep loads of my music on it where I can listen to whenever I please!

I am super excited to be one of the LG Fashion Bloggers and be apart of this great creative community while getting to know the other lovely bloggers. Mary, Brooke, Isabel, Andrea, Tieka & Margaret nice to meet you!

Below are a couple pics of me showing the different ranges of my style =)
