Super Value. XTERRA are giving these away at $99. Why rent when you can own for about the same price? Comfortable to swim in. Good fit. Buoyant enough to keep legs at surface of water. Easy on and off in transitions. I have a large chest and was able to do a hard swim workout with the Volt on.

A FANTASTIC BUY!! COULDN'T BE HAPPIER, ALREADY SWAM IN MY FIRST TRI OF THE SEASON WITH IT, FEELS LIKE I HAVE HAD IT FOREVER!!

I have purchased many wetsuits over the years for various activities. This wetsuit is a phenomenal deal and is great quality. Easy to strip of in transition. I went from no wetsuit last year to wearing the volt in the same race this year and improved my swim time by 1 minute. It should also be noted that the course was longer due to rogue buoys.

I was getting ready for my second triathlon, but not ready to spend a lot on a wetsuit - this was the PERFECT suit. Feels great, makes me feel like a fish in the water (and swimming is NOT my strongest event) and the price makes it a VERY easy decision. If you're looking for a first suit at a great price, don't hesitate to go with the Volt!

Great wetsuit for an even better price!! I was just looking for something basic for my first open ocean swim and this was perfect. Great fit, nice and flexible! I am completely satisfied with this purchase and I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a wetsuit.

I have been competing in Triathlon for some time now but was having the hardest time bringing myself to buy a wetsuit (married college student = no money). This suit, however, was too good of a price to pass up.

Saying it's the best "bang for your buck" is an absolute understatement. I have competed in this suit all year and have loved it. I even won my first overall event in this suit. The sleeveless feature allows my shoulders free rain in the water. Some water sneaks its way in through the chest, but its only after you are well into your swim and the cold is no longer an issue. This is by far the best piece in my arsenal of gear.

    Thanks Xterra:)

I am a newbie to the tri world with a limited budget and boy am I happy with my Volt. I trained and competed in it all summer long in fresh water between 60 and 80 degrees and was very happy each time I used it. I can't imagine swimming without it. My wife and daughter have recently purchased a Volt as well to get started in the tri world. Very exciting.

I never used a Tri wetsuit prior to this past Tri season. In fact, at 48,this was my first Tri Season and I had the opportunity to use this suit on 3 different events: Comfortable, flexible - I felt confident and strong in the water. I'm really glad I chose the sleeveless option and I recommend this suit to anyone looking for a great value. Especially to those who spent the night before running to the rental shop.

I bought a Volt this summer to compete in sprint and Olympic distance triathlons, and it improved my performance right away. This suit is a good value and a great first wetsuit.

Awesome wetsuit for the triathlons I do, couldn't possibly beat the price, the quality is really nice, it is fast and buoyant. Everything I could possibly want.

The Volt is the second wetsuit I've purchased and far and away the best. I've now done seven triathlons (4 sprints, 3 Olympics). I'm 61 and wearing my Volt in 75 degree river water in the DC Nations Tri, I finished in the top third of all 5000 competitors in the swim. The Volt was a perfect combination of flexibility, buoyancy and body coverage. Add the $99 value and it tops.

Great wetsuit for a beginner triathlete. I wear it for training and competing, the buoyancy of the suit helps me to concentrate on perfecting my technique. Fantastic value at $99.00. Chest could be a little larger to help with breathing, though.

Overall, great buy, and highly recommended.

I got the Volt for my first year doing triathlons. I admit i got it because it was only $99. I knew nothing about wetsuits at the time, but this suit has proven to be awesome. It's comfy, it's buoyant, it gets the job done for me as a beginner triathlete. I recommend it to everyone I know who is looking for a new suit. I'll definitely be an XTerra customer for a long time. Thanks!

Had my best swim in the Volt, even with conditions being less than optimum. The price was unheard of for a wetsuit of this quality. Thank you xterra for making the good stuff for those of us that don't have an unlimited bankroll.

This wetsuit is an excellent value and really proved its worth during a recent full Iron distance event. I would recommend it to both beginners and pros.

I lost my first Volt in the transition area during the first triathlon last summer!! I loved it so much that I immediately purchased another one. totally flexible, comfortable, and buoyant. I am planning on purchasing a full for the fall/winter.

Perfect for the beginner triathlete! I have just finished my 2nd tri, and the Volt is a perfect fit for me, both in size and cost!

For $99 you will not find a better deal. This suit is a STEAL for the price! It feels like you're not even trying when you wear this suit, like you're gliding through the water. The suit comes off fast with the quick release, which is great for your transition. I HIGHLY recommend this product to others!

Great wetsuit! You can't beat the price. I have rented other more expensive wetsuits and honestly couldn't tell much difference in comfort or speed. This is a no brainer if you're a beginner, and a great practice suit if you're a pro!

I've only used the Volt a few times, but have been very happy with the results. I've tried on other wetsuits, but have not found ones of similar quality in this price range

THE VOLT IS GREAT!!! MY FIRST WETSUIT PURCHASED FOR TRIATHLON. THE VOLT FITS LIKE A GLOVE AND I DO NOT HAVE SIX PACK ABS. THIS WAS AN AWESOME PURCHASE. NEXT SEASON I WILL BE STARTING EARLY WITH THIS WETSUIT! EXCELLENT WARMTH AND BUOYANCY ALONG WITH COMFORT AND FIT.

I'm new to the sport so I tried a few different more expensive suites my coach had available. After trying the different styles I settled on the sleeveless style and my coach directed me to Xterra because of the deal they have on the Volt. I've been very happy with the suite and haven't noticed a difference between the Volt and the more expensive styles. Not to mention I finished in the top ten in my first Tri. Needless to say I'm very happy.

  • Andrew A09/15/10

The volt has treated me great in two triathlons this year. It fits just as it should, provides the benefits of a wetsuit without feeling like you are wearing one. The volt comes off smoothly in the transition area as well. I definitely recommend it!

  • Greg09/15/10

I bought this wetsuit for my first triathlon, and it made a huge difference. Despite being my first open water race, I felt totally comfortable in my suit and the confidence helped me put out a great time for my first race. My buddy raced against me in another wetsuit, but has since bought a Volt and has told me that it has made a huge difference in his swimming workouts.

I rented a couple different suits, and I like the Volt better than the ones I rented. I think it's a very good starter suit.

Also, I received the suit two days after ordering.

This wetsuit is fantastic! I got it on a Friday and wore it in a sprint on Sunday and it couldn't have performed better. This was the first tri I've ever worn a wetsuit in and I took almost 4 minutes off my time. Buoyancy is great too. Water was freezing but the suit made it a non-issue. I didn't go through the initial "shock factor" I usually experience when I enter the water. Fits like a second skin without being restrictive. Thanks Xterra for making such a great affordable wetsuit!

Used this wetsuit to swim Alcatraz. Found it to be very durable and rip proof. Warmth factor was perfect for strenuous swim. Originally chosen by price, expectations were exceeded in performance. Volt rocks!

To all considering the Volt. I have used this suit in two triathlons: a sprint and olympic distance. All I can say is WOW! It's almost like cheating. The water temp was 71 and 74 degrees and this suit helps to keep the "chestnuts" warm. It makes the swim a lot easier to. What a great product!

  • Cliff Fields09/15/10
    5

Wow, great wetsuit! I grew up in/around the water and have had many wetsuits. The Volt is easy on, easy off, flexible and most of all fast. I can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can wear it again. I would totally recommend this wetsuit to anybody that wants a faster swim split or just a great all around wetsuit.

  • Rick O'Malley09/15/10

Very happy with the Volt. Great suit for the money. Better fit than my scuba wetsuits. Made the swim much easier - felt like I was cheating. Being able to wear the suit on my upcoming open water swim in a cold river is putting my mind at ease. Have recommended the Volt to others.

A great value for the price. This was my first year doing triathlons. After buying a new bike and everything else involved in this sport, it was so nice to find a value like the Volt in a wet suit. I was very pleased with the quality. I will be using my suit this weekend at the Savage man Triathlon in Deep Creek Maryland (water temp 68.

This is a great entry level wetsuit. The fit was true to the sizing charts. I am a big guy and finding a suit to accommodate 6'4" 280lb was challenging. Used it in two sprint tri's this summer and it performed well. Great value!

  • Tanya Carr-Waldron09/15/10

The Volt is a fabulous wetsuit! Very comfortable and the perfect thickness! If you fall in the middle of a size and have big shoulders, I'd recommend going up the next size. The first one I purchased was a little snug in the shoulders and neck. Xterra has a fabulous return policy! I sent back the 1st suit and was sent a new one that fits perfect! Customer service is important to me and Xterra is top notch!

The volt was my first suit for my first triathlon and could not have been more perfect. The fit was spot on and buoyancy was perfect. Definitely gave me an edge in my first race. Doing my 2nd of many future triathlons this weekend (9/19/10) and my Volt will be at my side. Keep it up Xterra, you've made a believer out of me.

The Volt is my first wetsuit. I wore it to two sprint tri's, an olympic and a 1/2 ironman this summer. I feel so much lighter in the water. I love it! The only small problem is the size fit perfectly when I bought it in April, since then my shoulders have gotten bigger so it's a bit tight around that area. But I like that problem.

This being my first summer of triathlons I was looking for a quality yet affordable wet suit to get me going. A friend referred me to XTerra and I needed to look no further !!
The quality, fit, and cost were exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks for making such a great product.........

Purchasing my Volt wetsuit was the best investment I could have made for my first triathlon. In hindsight, I could have paid twice what I paid for it and felt the same way. $99 provided me with a more confident stance while waiting for my wave to begin. Sizing up the suit per the Xterra website proved to be a real benefit for me, the beginning triathlete. I didn't need to guess what size I was and benefited from the years of experience the folks at Xterra have. In the water, the only hindrance to me was in my head, not my suit. It was like a second skin, to be sure. My .5 mile swim could have been disastrous had i not trained a bunch and if I'd been in another suit, like a clunky wetsuit made for surfers, et al. Thanks, Xterra for a great suit.

I have used my Volt in several ocean-swim practices and one ocean-swim triathlon event and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It is comfortable and easy to put on and take off. The extra buoyancy gives me a lot more confidence and sense of speed in the water. At $99.00, it is really a "can't miss" value.

I was borrowing a wetsuit from a buddy and finally decided to pull the trigger on a new wetsuit and settled on the VOLT. The weight and flexibility of the new VOLT is incredible. I shaved 7 minutes off my swim. There was zero drag with the VOLT and the buoyancy kept me at the surface of the water. I would strongly encourage anyone who is considering a new wetsuit to try the VOLT you won’t be disappointed

I have used the volt for one full season and I have loved it! I am a big guy and was very concerned it would be tough to get on and off and I was afraid I might rip it. Well after 2 half ironmans and a few other smaller races it is doing great! I was very happy with the price as well!

  • Aaron09/16/10

Bought a sleeveless Volt for my first full Ironman race, and it worked like a charm. Felt so much better to have my arms free and not feel restricted in my movement. Thanks, XTerra!

This was my first tri and my first suit. The size selector walked me through the process and the fit was perfect when it arrived. I wore it and loved the boyancy and feel. Easy on and easy off. Would highly recommend this for any level competitor. And a great deal at this price.

After struggling with may full suits ranging from entry level to elite level suits i decided to try a sleeveles suit and see if it helped with feeling restricted. The volt was a perfect choice. I have used in 58 degree water temps and races ranging from Olympic to 2 mile swims and the suit was excellent for all distances. I will only buy xterra wetsuits from now on.

The Volt is my first triathlon wet suit and I couldn't be happier with it - especially for the price. Very comfortable in the water, with no chafing or any other problems. I highly recommend it as an entry-level suit.

  • Scott A09/17/10
    5

I recently purchased a Volt wetsuit to add to my arsenal of Triathlon tools... I could not believe the difference in the water with that thing on... not only did the buoyancy make me feel higher in the water but the tightness made my core strength better which made my strokes more productive... couple that with the natural decrease in drag and thus increase in speed and I felt like I was flying through the water and my splits proved it! I feel spoiled and now hope the water is cold enough to allow me to wear my suit! This thing ROCKS... you probably spend more money on lattes every month than the investment required to own this suit.. buy one and never look back!

i bought a volt for my first triathlon, the tri rock san diego race. after practicing in the pool, the volt helped me float on the surface in the ocean (and made me look cool). the volt powered me to a 4th place age group finish at the tri rock. best value around!

I purchased the volt for my first triathlon because it seemed the most economical decision. Boy am I happy! I don't regret it one bit. It fits well, is easy to get on and off, and I had a great experience. The Volt is a great value.

I bought my volt about 4 months ago.I wanted to start open water swimming but didnt want to spend a lot of money just in case I didnt stick with it. Well now I am hooked. I really enjoy my suit and it has gotten a lot of use even in these cold water conditions we have been experiencing.

First wetsuit I ever had and was great for a beginning Triathlete. Fits perfectly and definitely helped my swim times! What a deal!

  • Chris R09/23/10
    5

Starting off a nervous open water swimmer, I bought my Volt back in the spring. I had very little experience at longer distances, especially in open water. The great buoyancy gave me confidence to get out in the water while the suit kept me warm in the cold Michigan Lakes (even without the full sleeves.) I look for excuses to use it as often as possible, and barely get any chaffing! Excellent purchase to start a long career of triathlons, and has already made a significant difference in my swim time.

I shopped around both online and at stores and the Volt was by far the best priced suit out there that I found. I have now had it for four months and am extremely pleased. I can now add that it is a great value too. Comfortable and well made!

I spent 2 months trying to figure out what wetsuit I was going to buy. I finally chose the Volt and it was the best decision for me. I love that it's sleeveless. I had a guy that travels across the US for triathlons tell me it was a great suit, no just a great entry level suit. Swam in it all summer (for practice sessions) then used it for real this last weekend...in 64F water. Sure, the initial plunge was cold but once I got going didn't even notice it. I love this wetsuit!

The Volt is a perfect wetsuit for the beginner triathlete. Fit, form and function is excellent. Try it! What can you loose for that price? Remember, you can always upgrade once you're serious.

I am a former college swimmer, now in my 40s, and had never swam with a wetsuit until a few weeks ago. After appreciating Xterra's sponsorship of Slam the Dam Open Water swim this fall in Las Vegas, I decided to look into buying my first wetsuit for the recent Silverman. I went with the Volt because I wanted the flexibility of movement for my stroke, especially in the shoulders, and needed something economical. I used the Volt in my first race with a wetsuit at Silverman and was third out of the water! I noticed other top competitors had Volts on also. The suit was comfortable with great flexibility for my stroke. Thanks Xterra for such a quality, fast, and affordable suit!!!
