Steven Page says he can’t see himself ever rejoining the Barenaked Ladies and feels weird that the band didn’t change its name after he left almost two years ago.

Page — who co-founded the Barenaked Ladies — also said he finds it strange that the group continues to perform songs he wrote.

Page announced his split from the Ladies in February 2009.

He says he might be willing to do a one-time performance with his old bandmates for a good cause, but wouldn’t reunite with them permanently.

Page will release his first album under his own name, Page One, on Tuesday.
